OEM parts, yes I’d need to change belly pans and fender liners. Passenger side fender liner is cracked so it will need to be replaced anyway.

The Steeda kit I linked does not need the PP belly pan (I have a non-PP car) so it’s just paint, install and go

As someone who swapped the belly pan and liners 2 months ago (15-17 vs 18-23 cars here though), it's a real easy job. It's more annoying to have the huge parts sitting around until you can get to it lol.

This is the one I’m looking at. It’s made to fit the GT’s and Eco’s. Maybe the OEM Mach bumper has a few fitment issues on a GT or Eco?

if I had to replace my bumper I'd go with another Bullitt front or a GT350 front.

I ended up with the Steeda / Air Design front and unfortunately, Steeda doesn't have any more and Air Design stopped making them. I offered to buy the mold, but they said they didn't have them
Hopefully, this one never gets hurt, but I will be following along for ideas, in case I ever need a new one.

Since I track my car with square 11" wheels, and if I needed a new fender plus painted, I would probably elect to get two fenders that are wider, ala GT350. Then my fronts wouldn't poke so bad.

It’s a shame that they stopped making the Air Design bumper! I thought it was the best looking option for a different front bumper cover. It looks fantastic and it is its own thing! it doesn’t pretend to be anything else (GT500, GT350, M1 etc.). It definitely sets the car in its own unique looking category.
I would also like to know why it was put out of production. It would be great if someone could pick up the rights to continue making it.

BTW, I have no issue against using a factory look a like front bumper cover such as a GT350 or otherwise.

I think I understand what’s on your mind and I feel the same way.

Me having a V6 base, upgrading to items from higher trims is a natural progression.

On the flip side, there is our Mustang community and like it or not, some things are considered controversial.

I understand the concept of “Who cares what others think?” , but ultimately we live in a society, we are not isolated.

Like I don’t engage with alot of Mustang owners, but when I do, we talk about our cars and I don’t want to show that I am pretending to hide the fact that I have a V6.

And it is not about the V6, I love the V6 and in my opinion it is the best car for me and if it was up to me, I would make it look like the Mach 1 or the GT350 and I would do it because I like the unique look and the prestige it carries and I would be super happy, but I know I would be uncomfortable if I pulled up to a Ford dealership or if I talked about my car.

Ultimately, I decided to stick with the base V6 design, put a quad tip exhaust, GT grill, GT350 wheel and premium interior and called it a day.

Just did a Mach 1 bumper conversion on my son's 2022 GT. The 777 Mach 1 bumper conversion (same Chinese manufacturer as any other brand) is designed for the base model Mustang GT fender liners and belly pan with 2018-23 turn signals. Fitment will take some finessing, especially to fit the side corners flush to the fender, and paint prep will also require routine body work to fill some molding divots. The reverse engineered grill pieces are interchangeable with my authentic Mach 1 spares but the upper and lower splitters are unique to the Chinese bumper and not on par with the OEM pieces. Note, the Chinese lower splitter sandwiches the belly pan between the upper splitter and completes the proper assembly of all three pieces. There are only few aftermarket options, that do not immitate/clone a original Ford design (Mach1, GT350, GT500).
I would not choose one of the clones.

I kind of like the 2018+ Super Snake front facia, there is/was a chinese-made knock-of of it.

These are parts that mimic the style of OEM components and fit the Mustang 2.3L and GT. Honestly, I think they're all made in Taiwan.

Just a heads-up the factory original Mach 1 bumper and GT500 KR hood WILL NOT fit regular Mustangs.

  Mach 1-style bumpers come in two versions:
  1. With built-in LED lighting around the fog light grille (like the one I linked above).
  2. A more accurate OEM replica with blank fog light covers instead (this is the one I have—though I had to go through hell to retrofit actual working fog lights into it)

Just an FYI for anyone out there...
When I ordered my front bumper from 777 it was right around the time they first offered the halo-lights in the grill.

They offered them to me absolutely free of charge, which I found very generous.

I feel bad saying this but I wish they hadn't.
Off the bat, they looked great at night. But during the day they were like a dull Grey color and it looked awful.
After a few weeks, one light started to flicker randomly between the white and amber (they blink amber acting like a turn signal)
Then the white turned a completely different shade and I had two different halos.
I eventually disconnected them and painted them black.

I'd definitely recommend anyone else stay away from any of those Halo grill lights in a Mach 1 front end.
