Frame doesn't look bent, just dented it. Structurally I think it's fine but cosmetically it's an eyesore. As mentioned earlier, they could use rivets to pull the dents and repaint that section, would be <$500 I'm guessing.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions, Yeah i would be hesitant to claim insurance for those reasons. I was going to take it to the dealer i bought it from and see what they say. I imagine it's going to be pretty expensive. Car has driven fine, even took the car to the race at an 1/8th mile and it was okay. I'm more worried about the future.

@Cobra Jet Yes, i did pull over but i only noticed the stock headers being dented. No leaks or anything like that. little did i know it was much worse...

Think about the force it took to dent the steel frame? I say something
has to be affected. I have seen fender benders require frame alignment

I would call it in, it's a frame and I've seen dmg like that total a reletivly new car.

Everyone is different on what they care about. I simply gave my opinion as I would not want to drive a car with a bent frame.
I wouldn't call that in. They'll have you on record for a accident.

My daughter backed into my Rav4 and did $800 worth of damage. I called the insurance company and they said my deductible was $500. I decided to just pay it all myself. My daughter gets in a car accident a few months later ( her 2nd accident ) and my insurance company cancelled my insurance. I called and asked why and they said my daughter has 3 accidents. I said but I paid for one of them on my own. They didn't care and counted the call in.

Daughter got her own insurance after that BTW.

First it is NOT a frame. The Mustang is a Uni-body design. Yes the dent in that part of the stiffener looks bad, but all you did was dent the stiffener of the lower floor panels.

 nothing will be shifted from that damage. Just an eyesore. Don't waste your time taking to the dealer. Keep on driving. But what do I know.?(25 years in the collision industry);)

Just clean it up and spreay a good sealing paint over any gouges to prevent rust. And then forget it.

I agree, it's just a "dent". Doesn't look like it wood have altered your body alignment.
Are all your shut lines OK?
If so, just don't let anyone look under the car.

Cutting and welding only weakens it at that point... Leave it alone for now, but what's your Vin number again.... you know... Just for lowballing purposes...jk

If it were a problem, you would have noticed it the moment (or moments) after it occurred. I wouldn't worry about it. If your car is pulling to a certain side, there's new clunks, or funny treadwear, then maybe it tweaked something.

I guess i'll just keep an eye on it then. I haven't felt anything different. One last thing, in the future i would like to ProCharge my car. Nothing crazy (HO Complete kit) would the extra power be a cause for concern? Appreciate all the responses.

I swear, some of the people in here would take their car to the dealer if it got wet in the rain. Yes there is a dent and no its not an issue. And totaling the car...not even close

Just drive it, maybe spray some paint on there so it doesn't rust. Other than that you are fine.
