The Steeda car is not FBO. They required a gear change to 4.09 to run the number. Gears are not a bolt on item. They are now running a converter which is not a bolt on item.
He must be either just trolling and having fun with us or is 12 years old. The drag radial comment and now this?:crazy::headbang::facepalm:

If someone has a minute, maybe you can educate me? I have a 16 with a Roush Stage 1. It is freaking fast in my book but I'm not a ET guy so I guess it's all relative. Can someone explain a bit why the Roush is not very up-gradable (Stage 2 is just 1200 bucks, not sure what 3 costs) and I guess why you would get a Lund tune? Because the Roush tune is a very "safe" application? A tune not meant for the strip but more for guys like me who are cruising on the street? Thanks..... (trying to learn and make sense of what I'm reading)

The 15-17 is upgradable. Most are refering to the fact that the 18+ roush supercharger has the factory size throttle body and no option to upgrade to anything bigger. It may use the GT350 throttle body I'm not too sure. That combined with the reduced intercooler size just restricts the unit compared to others.

You do realize Steeda has a build thread on THIS forum for their silver NA car right?

Its fastest times are with....... Wait for it......... STOCK 3.15 gears.

I suggest you dig up the Steeda thread once your head stops throbbing. Obviously you hit it pretty hard.....

LOL!!

I lied its faster....

The Steeda team was back at it again this past weekend with our 2018 Silver Bullet at SGMP testing a 3.15 rear gear.

Cooler temps brought in a 20mph head wind that we were battling all day.

After several passes and a wheel change, we were able to best the 2018 NA World record and then did it two more times before it was all said and done!

New best, 10.330@ 132.26mph with a 1.46 short on 17" wheels!

Can’t thank our supporters enough!

Lows 10s at 130+ mph would absolutely destroy your Roush setup...... And alot of Hellcats and other supercharged setups.

10.3s @ 130mph+ is going wreck alot of feelings....... Just saying.

Like @Platinum_5.0 stated, they are mostly talking about the Roush supercharger for the '18 and '19. I believe they have one model for them at this time. I have the same Phase 1 that you do (with a few other items) and a Lund tune. I don't ever go to the 1/4 strip, but I do rip around the turns and twistys as much as I can. I simply can't be any happier than what I am with the tune. There are many items we can get for ours to bump things up if you want. I'm soon adding a few more items to mine (which I don't really need).

Im getting the impression. That this guy is getting all of his facts from youtube. Drag radials do nothing. Stangmode is a good driver. LOL

I suggest you read the whole Steeda build from the beginning. They put 4.09 gears in it because there wasn't a converter available at the time. After they got a converter they went back to the 3.15

But wait what if the Steeda car has run 10.4s thats almost half a second faster than the 10.8 time your talking about..........
Steeda's car is a race car. not a FBO street car.
