So I installed the Ford Performance ones today but that lower bracket with the bendable weak sauce bottom nut and copper washer seem weak sauce maybe it will hold up but I looked around and some are complaining too … so steeda and redlines lower bolt on seems much more beefy .. comments and opinions from everyone please! Which do you like best ? Problems? Etc etc!! Thanks everyone !

I have redline, and also no complaints as they function perfectly. I wanted the Ford Performance ones originally to keep an OEM appearance, but I was turned off by some of the poor reviews regarding that bottom attachment to the fender. I think if I had to do it over though I would go with the Steeda ones since they seem to have the beefiest connection points and support for the hood.

Adding to the mix... I have Roush struts, very happy 😅

I ran the FP struts on my 2016 and I have the Redline struts on my 2022. I had no issues with the FP struts but the Redline hood brackets are a little beefier and I feel like they support the weight of the hood a little better.

Redline here as well. The optional real carbon fiber tubes are a nice touch and like mags said the brackets are pretty slick.

The CF is a nice touch. I dig that Corsa CAI with the CF intake tube too.

The Roush struts are really nice too. I was between those and Redline. No real rhyme or reason as to why I chose Redline over the Roush other than there were more reviews for the Redline than the Roush

I ended up replacing my FP fender brackets for Redline brackets (see here).

My driver side FP fender bracket was perfectly solid, but the passenger side was an ongoing issue. I could never get it to completely tighten enough and it would always move a bit when opening or closing the hood.

Since installing the Redline brackets, everything has been perfectly solid.

Redlines here too. Didn't go with the Ford ones for the same reasons.
I've had mine for 2+years now with no issues at all. At this point, if I had to replace them, I can't think of a reason to go with anything else as they have been flawless.

The Roush struts … any problems installing ? The CJPony install video made it look like it was a bit of a PITA with undoing both bolts on a side, they show tape measuring etc to realine hood etc

Mine feel solid but I notice that the bottom bracket is not perfectly straight it is slightly at an angle on both sides seems firm but it bothers me that when tightened to 20 ft/lb like recommended they still twist to a bit of an angle … shit maybe that’s normal ? Are yours slightly at an angle or completely straight?
