If you're truly having trouble with the app other than just locating the info try restarting the device you're on or delete and reload the app.

I’m lost. I’m still trying to figure out what a glove box has to do with the FordPass app.

I don't even see any value in the Ford Pass app at all - so I just "pass"....

It could be so much better if their IT Team would do better with it and provide actual functionality.

It gives no detail to service visits, Ford nixed some of the prior features of the app (discussed on here a while back) and it really just serves no purpose than to what - show your VIN? LMAO....

I think the app is fine. I don't need yet another APP controlling my car. Locking and unlocking car as well as the general info it displays is more than enough imo.

Recently a lawsuit in state of Washington, was over Ford downloading, & possibly selling our text messages.
I guess if ur usin your ph thru the cars BT, you waive your phone info privacy now?

Not clear if you must be a Ford Pass member or not, for this Ford 'prying eye' tool to be agreed to. Thats how they won the suit, because car owners agreed to allow the data transfer.

Is hookin up your ph, or another person's ph, via blue tooth, all they now need as permission in Washington.??
Do passengers then waive there rights as well, thru BT? A bit intriguing 🤔

Perhaps I should I have said... they have the legal right to download your phones information & text, but only if they should so chose. Which they wouldn't, right?

Ford won, Btw....

All them darn ole pesky agreements 🤦 we unknowingly/knowingly acknowledge.

The VIN is handy Im sure, but I keep that # in my ph notes & turned off FP in the screen settings. Haven't called & actually canceled yet. I wonder if they would tell you they lose access to your texts by turning off FP.
Or maybe they dont.

Who buys our text messages? 🤔

If anyone wants 'cite', I can lk for the story again.

Here you go. It’s not just Ford.

https://www.malwarebytes.com/blog/n...or-car-makers-to-intercept-your-text-messages

Love these last two paragraph……….

In fact, the seasoned Mozilla team said “cars are the worst product category we have ever reviewed for privacy” after finding that all 25 car brands they researched earned the “Privacy Not Included” warning label.

Since that doesn’t give us much of a choice to go for a brand that respects our privacy, I suggest we turn off our phones before we start the car. It’s both safer and better for your privacy.

Duh! Like I said, what doi know……
All of your blacked out data is still easily visible, just FYI. I just have to slightly elevate my viewpoint and my monitor reveals all. I would remove the photo if you want that information private.
