Well you're wrong. It applies to everyone who owns a GT350, of any trim.
A few of you guys have become ridiculous in the way you cruise into other threads and try to turn everything you see into a tech pack argument....especially bitterly following people around who you don't agree with...this screams of strife and insecurity. Are you angry that people have an opinion that's different than yours? You really think your decision to buy a tech pack is the same or even close to a cracked block? Don't answer that - let's leave this thread to it's original topic.
Again Limp Mode that occurs on a Tech/base car and the discussion if they should get help from Ford does not apply to all GT350s. But YOU, Zitro, Firestarter, and a few others found it very entertaining to occupy those threads. So, yes you were "cruising" those threads and turning every discussion into "ford shouldn't support base/tech owners.
as far as people having a different opinion, I really don't care. Ya'll seem to be the ones that want everyone to conform to your limp mode opinion and now this small crack opinion.
Finally, I do find the limp mode issue and cracked block issue different in the fact that one was miss represented and covered up by Ford and I find them the same in the fact that if the OP's argument for getting limp mode fixed was that the problem had to occur under street condition then the same should be true for his crack. By his logic, he should only get a new engine if his car suffers a problem while driving legally on the street.
