At 2,600 miles on the odometer, I thought it was time for the 1st oil change. While the dealership had it they also did the brake pedal bracket recall.

That was 4 hours sitting in the waiting room. Anyways, it's good to have this taken care of. The total out the door price for the oil change was $222, but they took my points in lieu of cash.

$222.00? For that price you better have gotten a happy ending, geez I paid $90 for my oil change, and that was an F up of the parts dept and my service guy was like, thats on them, normally it would have been about $120.

Wow that’s high. Part of the deals I cut for my cars are service deals for the life of the car while I own it. I haven’t paid for an oil change since I bought the thing.

RockAuto is 105.96 for 12 & 24.99 for the filter
and 12.42 for the XL10 goop for the hook pins... because... why not.
That's true, but Rockauto charges for shipping and Amazon does not.

i trust the products I get from them…

Amazon has become a dumping ground for Chinese knockoff crap.

For $8 more in the price delta with shipping factored in…. I’ll take known Motorcraft vs potential RotorRaft import you go fraster car roil…

and would have been less with that swanky code you have there!!!

Christ on the cross. I use Royal Purple HPS, and I don’t pay half that. Do it yourself. Lord.

It does fluctuate. I usually buy when it goes down to $100. Watch it, it will go down.
If I’m not mistaken the dealer charged 12.00 per quart for my first oil change.

On another note when I had my 350 the service tech had no idea that the 350 required 5-50 synthetic. If I had not said anything they would have put recycled oil in the thing

Another great reason to do it yourself.
