First mod?

It will be replacing the PP black wheels with the 50th LE 19" polished Aluminum wheels when I can get them. That will be the only mod to the ordered vehicle.

Will be ordering GT prem with PP & 50AP, colour still undecided but probably Guard.

After receiving my Ecoboost Premium, I'll get tint, 3M clear bra on the bumper, full hood, front fenders, a-pillars and side mirrors. I'll be getting Oxford White, so I'll also get the roof panel wrapped with gloss black vinyl to go with the Performance Pack wheels.

After breaking it in and waiting for product development, I'll get an intake, full exhaust and a tune.

Assuming the hideous coolant recovery tank (aka "the blob") we've seen in prototypes makes it into production, my first mod would likely be to replace it with something along the lines of the style used in the S197.

It seems silly to me that Ford would make an effort to dress up the engine bay with plastic engine covers, etc, while also tacking on such an ugly eyesore. It may not be a big deal to some, but when I open the hood, I want something I can be proud to show.

I wonder if the Galactica can be replaced with the 2011-14 cover. I also have to think about doing the 3m on the bumper and hood. My GTI's bumper and hood got tore the F up by rocks and such

Probably XPEL paint protection film... haven't had much luck with Ford's paint in the past. I'd want to keep the Mustang looking as mint as possible (for a summer DD, that is).

After that? A tune through my COBB AP (crossing my fingers they support the ecoboost)

First Mods

From listening to you guys, Im getting a GT PP Race Red with Recaros. I think Ill go white super snake stripe, Ford Racing side stripes, Cold air intake, Hood strut kit, hood locks, cool gas cap, and get rid of those stupid black wheels and go supersnake, oh yeah replace GT with Snake emblems. Oh And probably make it louder and meaner, and of course illegal tint.

I had a 305 horse 2007 Gt, lowered only the back end, Flowmasters, short shifter, tint, CAI, but thought Id make a million on land deals..ha...oops sold it and lost a bunch of money to a very lucky 80 year old man...This Time its going to be a keeper, Ill be cruising the trinity county highway northern ca, if anybody wants some...Ha.....I really hope my river property sells, cause Im pulling the trigger!!!!

We already ordered our wheels Next is getting with Roush some power goodness and a suspension/ exhaust system. The time can't go by fast enough.

Blackout the roof.
Ghost cam tune after 15k miles
Save up for headers and a Supercharger.

I'll create a thread for the first mod I'm doing when the time comes. After that mod will likely be a Whipple or Roush (having trouble deciding), half-shaft upgrade/suspension.
