Here is my first autocross attempt in the factory boosted 4&6 class. I was definitely outgunned by some smaller, lighter fwd/awd cars. Finished 10th/29 in my class and 47th/113 overall. First time using racerender even though i use my accessport during track days. It was about 90 degrees while running Cobb stage 2 93, and my last pass was the fastest.

it's actually a course owned by the state for police training. Yes very narrow, managed to see a C8 spin out :eyeroll

Wild autocross course. What group was this with? Given the classification and the fact you got that little ecoboost up to almost 100 through the finish I'm guessing it's not the SCCA. Would love to get out and play on something as fast as that.

the group is Morgans motorplex. they do a couple events a year there, i think they are the only outside group allowed. They draw out some cool cars for MN. i believe it was $70 for 6 runs.

i'm thinking about doing another event here in a couple weeks. Anyone have suggestions for tire pressure for stock alignment?

I believe the technical term for this is “track cross”, but I can’t be sure. Looks fun.

tire pressure kind of depends on the tire itself. Probably like 38 hot in the front and like 34 hot rear.

I saw some in interesting corrections in your video. Ideally you should be available to maintain constant throttle and really lean into the front tires with little fear of spinning out on dry ground.

It’s ok if the back tires move as long as they Don’t get in front of you.
