I think Corbeau FX1 Pro offers three different widths and they're pretty cheap (no FIA cert but it's most definitely not needed for autocross) - I think I have the narrow version you can try if you ever make your way down here, it'll give you some benchmark for the wider ones.

To use a 4 point properly, you have to tighten the lap portion so tight your organs hurt. In my experience, tight shoulder straps just make feeling what the car is doing worse.

I had a 4 point in my S197, got a free one for my S550, and haven’t bothered to install it. I stack a few of these on the stock belt and try to crush my pelvis a few moments before starting.

I’m near top pax at local events. One thing I have realized is that smooth is fast, so physical self-abuse goes down with experience.

Wanted to see if any of y’all had seat recommendations. I’m a short and wide boy. I installed my QuickFit, but still need something to help hold me in because I feel like I’m sliding all around in my heated/cooled seats. Would probably nab a harness bar as well (no immediate plans for the track, so can’t imagine a roll bar is currently a necessity).
I have a Sparco Circuit 2. I love it. Certainly holds you in place. Tighten down the harnesses and you are glued to the car. Makes a huge difference not having to hold yourself in place and can have a lighter grip on the steering wheel.

As others have said, the non-FIA certified seats are about half the price and realistically work the same but some groups (I know NASA is one for sure) inspect for certs and do not allow non-certified seats on track.
