Honestly don't know. Had a shop install the headers and h-pipe.

My guess is probably no. I would like to think a shop would tell you such a device is in. Add to that many shops (not all) are scared to mess with emissions.

I think the law changes after the first of the year. Inspections for only emissions and only for certain counties that require it.

So basically nothing changes unless you’re living in rural Texas. I would bet 80% of all residents of the state live in the emissions counties. Texas still bending a knee to the feds in exchange for some of uncle Sam’s sugar.

Seriously, someone earlier said to look up the drive cycle procedure and follow it.
That is a very good suggestion for a car that is hardly driven.

Here's the real solution, albeit it may be an unpopular one... Lose the headers and any other powertrain mods, reinstall the cats and any other OEM parts, then reset the tune to factory. Enjoy. If you want more power, trade to a GT350, a GT500... or a Dark Horse if that's your persuasion.
