I did the swap for the rear seats. Pretty easy. For the fronts I got leather Recaros. The front is where the difficulty is in swapping covers.

I did this in my Focus ST. Be aware that air bag systems can differ from year to year and from model to model. The 2013 Titanium seats I put in my 2013 ST gave me an airbag light. I had to swap skins on the two passenger seats to make it work. I found that to be easier than swapping airbags and all the wiring.

My 2018 base GT has cloth seats. I would really like to upgrade to leather. Aside from finding a wrecked donor car, how feasible of a project is this? I was searching on eBay and found the below listed link. Has anyone done a swap such as this and if so how difficult and expensive is it? Thanks!

I did this a few years ago. Just got lucky. Went on Ebay and found a set of 2 tone leather seat covers a customer did not like and had them taken off after they bought the car. They where like new. I went and bought them for $400.00 and installed them in my 15 GT PP. It was easy till I got to the front seats. They are a bit more complicated. You just have to make sure you keep track of how you disassemble everything and where everything goes once you are ready to reinstall. Here are some pics. I've done so many mods/upgrades to my car that its nearly a Premium, I've even installed an aftermarket Nav system. If you have any questions on the process let me know. I will try and help.

At first I thought I would go to a shop too then I got the quote and I was oh hell to the no. So I did it my self and found out its not that hard. Back seats took less than 30 mins.
Front longer but it was totally worth it. How much did they quote you for? I think mine was like $400

When I bought my 2018 it came with red leather seats. My wife hated the red so I had the dealership purchase Katzkin leather and have a shop replace it for me. Took one day and was super easy. I sold my OEM ones to someone and they got them installed on their 2017. Seemed easy to do.
