my old 2013 had hog rings on the cloth - I replaced them with zip ties where the hog rings had been for the leather - planning on doing that this time too.
Hog rings would be easier to use IMO, but I'm sure zip ties would work.

Just throwing this out there - for anyone doing base cloth to leather - If you also would like matching leather seat belt guide straps for the side, they are riveted to the seat back frame - the P/N for the factory black leather straps are:

FR3Z-63610C07-CB

Not a big deal, and I don't use them, but I want them to match. I feel like I saw a thread on here asking how to find those, I can't find that thread now - the one thing I absolutely cannot find, is the round metal magnets that these clip into. I can reuse mine, but what if I could not...hmmm.

Looks great! You did a great job of swapping to leather!
So, I did the rear seat bottom with the help of a couple co-workers...I did the LH/RH rear seat back myself, as well as the front headrests myself.

I paid the upholstery shop to do the LH/RH front seat back and set bottom - I needed them done, I needed the front seats to be right, and I didn't want to risk screwing it up - I made mistakes on the front seats when I did this in 2013, so, money well spent / cheap insurance.

I also had the shop install the correct leather seat belt straps that would have been in the car, had it actually come with leather from the factory - I haven't seen anyone actually do that yet, most leather swaps still have the cloth straps. Not a huge deal, but I wanted it to look OEM.

Additionally, this is probably overkill, and not at all necessary, but I had the upholstery shop install new headrest guides - I know that they just pop out, but according to the Ford service manual, they must be replaced with new guides if removed - it states that they may not stay in place properly otherwise, so, why not, they are cheap enough.

Overall, 700 for the leather, 100 for the headrest guides and seat belt straps, 200 for install. Accessory dept at work quoted me 1300 for Katzskin, Katzskin quoted me 2300 for custom Katzskin - so, not a giant savings, but not a ripoff or anything.
