I'm with the comment right before yours.

I also have no cats, x-pipe and Roush AB's. My car is loud enough to wake the 'effing dead, so ancillary noises from the engine bay (assuming there are any at all) would be impossible for me to hear.

Also, I ditched the engine cover as soon as I got the car home. I always thought it looked stooopid and was simply a half-assed, lazy attempt by FORD to dress up an engine that didn't need it.

Where did your pics go...?

I don't know?? I am using imgur.com for third-party pic hosting.

Could this be the problem?

I have noticed my pictures keep disappearing on my threads and replies. First they are there, then about a day later they are nowhere to be found??

Well here is the long and short of my F150 manifold install:

I couldn't be happier with it. :headbang:

Now keep in mind I am also running the A6 tranni, Pypes LT's without cats, a GT350 CAI, and a Flex/E85 tune from LUND.

I got my tune from LUND before I made the manifold swap, and have not had any revisions done to the tune since the F150 manifold swap. I have had zero CEL's, nor any driveability issues.

My car absolutely RIPS!!!!

Now keep in mind I have no dyno numbers to share, BUT my car has absolutely no problems revving to 7200rpm (thanks to LUND), and pulls HARD from 3500rpm to 7200rpm.

The car shoves me back in the seat, and when paddle-shifting gears from 1/2 and 2/3 with the traction control disabled, the car is just hazzing the rear 305/35-19 Nittos.

I love the F150 manifold swap so much that I will soon be selling the 2018 GT manifold, PNP pigtails, and 52lbs/hr. injectors I have sitting on my work bench that I have recently purchased.

My car is not my Daily, and it will never see a drag-strip or road course, so high RPM power is not my goal (thus why I don't need the 2018 GT manifold), conversely I want a car that is more fun to drive on the street in the RPM range my car will see 95 percent of the time.

Based on my car and its combination, IMHO, the F150 manifold is a much over-looked, and under-appreciated modification to the 2015-2017 S550 Mustang GT.

Below are some before/during/after pics...

You are the first to report it pulling hard til 7200, most report drop off in power from 6k and up

Even if power is trailing off from 6000 - 7200rpm, I wouldn't care because I don't often rev my car that hard. My car is a street-driven car, not a race car, and thus I want the power where the car is used most often which is, of course, from 3000 to maybe 6500 rpm.

I know we are all susceptible to chasing absolute/peak HP, but the coyote motor usually makes the most HP (at the expense of torque loss) at high rpm.

Again, I don't drive my car at 7200rpm. And thus I am chasing the broadest TORQUE curve I can find.

The F150 manifold makes the best torque AND in the RPM most of us use the vast majority of the time.

This simply makes sense in the real world, and makes the most usable TORQUE, which makes the car more fun to drive on the street, while probably not so much at the strip.

PLUS, I paid $72 (including shipping) for my F150 manifold. The vacuum routing is the same as the GT manifold, the IMRC connections are exactly the same, the F150 manifold does not require bigger injectors nor any tuning changes. What's not to like???

Now the fun to see if having one ported helps any? Also, a GT350 TB.

I am only running the GT350 CAI combined with the stock GT T/B.

Brandon at LUND did my tuning with that combo and it runs and idles flawlessly.

They don't. You have to have an adapter. Neither are performance enhancing though.

WRONG

The GT350 CAI fits onto the stock TB just fine. That's what the worm-clamp on the GT350 CAI is for.
