Yes, the car was already tuned and ran fine with that tune. But looking at the DYNO pulls there was some tweaking that needed done.

Was able to hit the rollers again yesterday to see if the revised tune and Airaid intake would add any more to the F-150 mani. The car pulls very hard and is alot of fun down low. No huge peak gains but there was improvement.(403/401 vs 396/398) Some nice gains thru the curve as well. I still think there is some potential for this mani in a HPDE/autox atmosphere. Next stage of this testing will be ported mani, lock the MCV, cut insert out of Airaid and DYNO tune. Would be really nice to have another 500 RPM's. I also have headers but may wait to see what this next stage does.

Nice results. Looks like you got some gains throughout the curve without any major drop-offs until you hit high RPMS.

I guess that I'll go ahead and get mine installed and then get tuned. Mine is a DD that doesn't see any track time, so I'm not concerned about the drop off after 6500 rpms.

Thanks for sharing

Very nice results, up to 40hp/tq improvement until 6500.

That mid RPM torque spikes looks terrible. Get a new tuner.

Yes they do.. lol!! It’s common in that range. It looks worse with that layout. On a full page print out it doesn’t look as bad. That’s why I want to do an actual DYNO tune where it can be worked out.

That's a 20whp swing, TWICE, in 1,000RPM. 400-380-400. That's gotta surge like a bitch.

Got my F150 intake today from Athens. Tapped the MAP sensor hole to 1/2-20 and used an o-ring plug.

Lund is going to look at some data logs when I get them and see if they need to tweak anything. May try to swap it tonight, but not sure yet.

Really interested in how they change the tune. I haven’t put mine on yet because I don’t have a local tuner and the big names don’t really support it.

It would be really cool for LUND to have the info and be able to tune towards this intake!! My DYNOs show some room for real imporoent!
