So I've read a few things about it in the past. But largely ignored it.

It reminded me at first of a device from wayyyu back called "G-Tech" that device was pretty much the butt end of allot of jokes.

So is this Draggy fun? Useful? Junk? What are your experiences with it? It looks like it could be fun or a waste of money. I can't tell. Sway me one way or another 👍

For the price it's pretty dumb, I also don't understand the 60-130 fad other than you like putting yourself and others in danger

I have one because I want to know my times after adding some things. More for curiosity than to race and show

They are useful to compare changes made, very accurate and if you have somewhere safe to make runs you can glean some good info from them. some people don't like the idea of them because they encourage use on the street, but that doesn't detract from the accuracy and usefulness for those that use them.

This is what I mainly use it for. No track near me anywhere in sight for hours. Hit the back roads, bring the box & test away.

or want to test things without having to go to the strip, don't want to break shit, don't want to rely on having a perfect launch...
Breaking things is part of racing. It shows what needs to be upgraded. There is more to making a car faster than throwing power at it.

60 to 130 lol. Weight means way less, and ZERO skill needed. Throw on some sticky tires, and thats it. That's why they came up with that BS metric.

Roll racing, the art of people who have no fucking clue how to drive, but their dad bought them a fast car

Hell most don't even need a sticky tire! Its sissy boy racing for kids that have no clue how to race or drive and endangers everyone else on the road.

The 60-130 videos I watch too are so different. Some guys start near 60 and punch it. Others are already accelerating through 60mph when it starts counting. Surely that cannot be accurate at all lol. Seems dumb. It would probably be useful for a 0-60 or anything from a dead stop, but our cars already have timers built into them for that

I do 60 to 100 mph rolls just to see if a mod or tune change works. It takes traction out of the equation. 60 to 100 Ill slow to 50 and punch it. I use the same stretch of freeway on ramp each time to take out that variable.

I find this is the safest way to test outside of a track.

You have a lot of people chasing 60-130 times because they can’t launch a car at the strip.
Sweet I'm not the only one thinking this.

Sounds about right
