Back in 08 I had a Bullitt and it crackle and pop really nice , the whole exhaust from the H pipe down was tune by ford to sound like the gt350 sound it in the movie. In the forum people always talk about where the crackle and pops came from, some said it was the axel mostly the axel back and other said it was the H pipe, the axel back was a ford racing axel back and the H pipe on the horizontal section had a plate in the middle sealing both sides one from the other except for a small hole in the middle of the plate may be a 1/4 size hole, and many said that was what made most the crackle and pops. I was going to try and replicate that on my mustang but I got a good deal on the ford racing side exhaust, but maybe some one with and H pipe system can try it and see if it works.

My Roush ABs did it a lot more than my corsa xtremes, but the xtremes still do it every once in awhile.

My Corsa extremes did it a lot before I got headers and a tune. But since I have them now they rarely do it

There was no GT350 in the movie Bullitt. Also the engine sound you hear during the chase scene didn't come from the Mustang but rather sound clips from GT40 racecars.

The '08-'09 Bullitt had the best sounding stock exhaust of any late-model Mustang, IMO.

Not counting the new GT350, which is a little different animal....
