I run an X pipe and Roush mufflers. I like them a lot, but I wouldn't want to go any louder than this. On cold starts, in the early morning or late at night, I use PVC mufflers I made to quiet it down for the first minute or two. If/when I get headers I would definitely go catted, not only to quiet it down some, but when I follow my buddies car with catless headers I always smell like exhaust by the end of the drive. I wouldn't want to deal with the constant exhaust smell in a daily driver even if I have to lose a few HP in the process.
