I recently put a G2 supercharger kit on my 2022 GT premium performance package (manual). And I’m having a ton of issues. It’s running very rough and wants to die out.
The entire motor when turned on runs insanely rough and doesn’t not want to stay alive as if there’s a vacuum leak or something else going on. When it idles at 800 it’s very smooth, anything under and it wants to die and throws misfire codes. I’m trying to get a datalog long enough to send back to Lund for revision, but it truly doesn’t want to run.
The belt/tensioner/pulley is causing a big issue. All the steps were followed to a T and double checked. I have a 115mm pulley with the correct belt size. It starts going crazy after the blower pulley, then wants to jump off the alternator ribbed pulley, jumps off the alternator 1 tooth (towards front of car), then goes absolutely crazy between the alternator and crank. Which then causes the tensioner to jump around and sound god awful. What could the issue be? The alternator wasn’t changed and neither were the bolts. All the pulleys are straight and spinning nicely.
I also need help with IMRC lockout tube routing. There are plenty of videos showing the 18+ manifold conversions for 17 and under, also how to install lockouts, but nothing for 2018+ tubing. The line in the back of the manifold originally attached to the brake booster to my knowledge gets capped off. ESS also states to cap it off. But here’s the problem, it runs terrible when capped off. When it’s open and sucking in air and causing a leak, the motor runs much better.
