Why ???
Planning to take your Mustang off road ?
A solution in search of a problem…
because I drive a lowered mustang that sometimes even hits on speedbumps, so rather hit this plate instead???

It's thin aluminum. If it takes a hit it's just going to dent and stay dented. Whereas the stock plastic will flex and return back to original shape.
Exactly !!!!!

The rigidness will also most likely cause more damage to the front bumper plastic (or anything else its bolted to) from a minor hit (parking curb...) as there will be no "bounce back" like the plastic tray.

What you say make no sense, what scrap first, because it’s lower and more forward is the front fender lip. Not the undertray/shield

This is just for Aesthetics. But a couple of scrapes and it wont look so nice.

Meh... I'd rather have what is already in place (and paid for) take the beating than spend money on something that's just for looks and will look like shit if it takes a hit due to the thin aluminum build. But to each his own! 🤷🏾‍♂️

dont really understand the appeal of this vs the plastic one that does just fine... do you often show off the underside of your car? maybe if you got a car you drive 1000 miles a year and often feel the need to scrub your new aluminum belly pan, i guess? otherwise, that things gunna look like shit after a couple months.

stock panels have significant aero features on everything but the most mastic non-performance pack cars. This would be an aero downgrade, weight more, less durable (impacts deform aluminum), etc etc.
