How are the 2019-2020 cars as far as engine issues such as:

- Oil consumption
- Oil pump/gear failure
- Piston slap/typewriter tick
- Valve train failure

19 with 5000 miles never burned oil. No ticks or rattles. The gaps are even straight on this one. Perfect.:like:

I bought my 2019 GT350 new the first week of February 2020, and 16 months/3,400 miles later have had no issues in any of those areas.

I never had to add oil. The first 1,000 miles was with the original factory oil and filter, subsequently and currently using Amsoil Signature 5W-50 oil and an Amsoil engine oil filter.

It may not be relevant, but for what it's worth, dual FP oil/air catch cans are installed, it's not daily driven, has no track time, and only moved approximately 2 1/2 minutes after a cold start once RPMs drop below 1,000 at idle.

2020 GT Premium PP1 took delivery in August of 2020. Not daily driven. 2900 miles and perfect, zero issues. Changed oil at 2500 miles Lucas 5w30 full synthetic.

What is the part # on that Amsoil filter for the GT350?

2020 coming up on 9000 miles. No issues so far, just an annoying squeak from the rear end at low speed when I cross things like speed bumps. I’m going to have it checked out when I take it in for service at 10,000

My 17 had the same squeak from the rear. Low speed over bumps. I recently swapped over to BMR springs and the squeak went away. Two birds one stone.

I know you didn't ask about the '21, but 10,000 kms and absolutely silent engine. Just did my first oil change as well.

2019 GT Premium. Took delivery on Christmas Eve 2019. 30k miles and no issues.

Had a hood gap issue on the passengers side that I took care of.

I ordered my 2019 GT 350 in Jan., 2019 (a no option car). It arrived July, 3 2019. It's almost 2 years old.

I've driven in the mountains a few times in a 'drive event' that was organized with owners on this site. I did the "Tail of the Dragon" twice with a few other friends. We drove it at daylight before the crowds.

It's been an excellent and reliable car. It's also fast and sounds great.

My wife is not a fan. She thinks it rides rough and is too loud. She wondered why the seats weren't heated/air conditioned?
