I went with the Mishimoto and have no regerts 😉. Aesthetically its an improvement over the stock clear plastic tank and its an easy enough install.
The Mishi uses a clear tube on the exterior of the tank as a sight glass for level identification. I had some initial thoughts about effectiveness...
I do feel fortunate till about July and then we transition to permanent swamp ass weather for four months or so.
February and March is peak track season for me here in SE Texas.
No hits, no runs, no errors - that's good, glad y'all had a great weekend at the track. I give you guys lots of credit for being out there. My a** cant handle that heat all day. I'll wait till later in the year before heading back out MSR.
I have an early 2017 build with a spin on filter. My car sees track time a few times a year and the occasional weekend blast, never an issue. IMO if torqued to spec, its a non-issue. I'd rest easy.
I'm on the NW side of town, Tomball Ford is closest to me. I took my car in for bumper sag under warranty and had a decent experience. Never for anything mechanical though. There was another 350 there at the same time getting a new motor so....maybe they're ok?
Hopefully others in the area can...
Love an orange R. Interesting that it's on its second voodoo in 554 miles. Wonder how/if that will have any impact on the auction? IMO probably minimal.
I was was recently in the exact same scenario as you. I use my car for track weekends and the occasional weekend or work drive. My 2017 is at 9,8** miles as of this writing. I plan on keeping the car indefinitely and with the reasons you stated above I decided to get the basic care ESP from...
I have a full set of take offs from my car if you're interested. I got a sweet deal on some girodiscs so my oem drilled rotors aren't being used. They were on the car for 7k miles and have tons of life left. PM me if you want.
Yup 2017 only. All told they made 369 non-R Grabber Blue GT350s. 134 with black stripes, 168 with white, 67 stripe delete. 2nd lowest production total for the year.
For me, it was either stare at my paint peeling on my 60k car or have Ford fix it under warranty. Once I saw it, I just couldn't ignore it. I certainly wasn't going to pay an outside shop to do it as it was clearly a manufacturing defect.
You could always swing by and have them look at it and...
They said it was best to repaint the entire bumper. Mostly to avoid potential similar issues in the future.
The shop actually painted it twice. After the first time they called me and said they needed more time. The shop manager didn't like the paint match so they pulled it off and repainted a...
