Anybody else have any updates, good or bad? I have another appointment next Monday. Curious if there's anything else I can suggest to them.
Mine did it maybe 8-9 months ago. Has not happened since.

I already picked it up but I'll ask tomorrow. Im curious to see what Ford is going to tell me tomorrow. Im also going to write someone a nice long email about this. I drive with my 1year old son in the back seat from time to time and if the car dies while on a turn or something that wouldn't be good because of lose of power steering. But I'll keep up with this forum and update you guys with results.
Loss of power steering is the least of your issues. Though I thought it was the engine just stalling? Do you also lose all accessory power?

Either way, not good at all if the engine is randomly shutting down.

The run active message pops up then I'll just start it back up while rolling. But yes the accessories stay on. I was saying if this happens while turning it could be a bigger problem because someone could possibly hit a curb or guardrail or whatever. But I'm fully aware of this issue so now i glance at the rpms a lot more often now. Ill post results tomorrow about the call...

Fairly stock. I suggest you make an appointment for the ecm update and contact the Ford rep here as they get in touch with the dealership as well. Makes things go smoother. I haven't driven the car much yet but no stalling so far.
Driversound, any updates a couple weeks after the TSB fix? Calling the dealer today to take the car in for a third time.

No stalling yet but that doesn't mean the TSB fixed it. Since this issue is so random, it's hard to tell. I can say the idle is smoother overall.

Yeah, I have gone weeks without it happening, but it seems pretty frequent now. The very first time it happened to me I had a couple days of spotty rev hunting at idle, but I can't say I've experienced that for a couple months.

Thanks for the update!

This waiting process is too crazy. I finally spoke to 1 of the top Supervisors over at Ford and he pretty much told me that more and more complaints has to be made before they realize that there's an issue. Smh. We did speak about having some type of recorder installed i guess to the computer so whenever the car shuts off while im driving I'll hit the button so it records what happened. But me getting that part isnt guaranteed. His 1st solution was that I leave my 2015 GT at the dealership for some Mechanic to drive until the problem occurs.... Its no way that was going to happen. So Im stuck waiting to see what happens. I was ready to add on some mods but i dont want them saying my mods have something to do with the problem.

LoL ... NFW (No F-ing Way). I could just imaging the mechanic 'testing out' the car.

Car cut off at the light. Happened more then once. At first thought maybe it was me but this is the 4th time it has happened. Tune, cold air longtubes is what's on the car. Reloaded a old tune thinking maybe the latest tune is bad but it still does it smh. I just finished reading this forum and it's sounds like it could be bad throttle body, bad crank positioning sensor, o2 sensor or the cam shaft positioning sensor. I don't know what it is but it's annoying, embarrassing and I almost got hit once the light turned green. Someone mentioned the auto engine off option in the driver assist menu could cause the problem. I'm gonna run my car with it off. Hopefully this fixes the problem but probably won't because that would be to easy. I also read about a software update u can get from Ford to prevent low idle. I just don't know how that's gonna work since I have a tune with longtubes and cold air. I really don't wanna have to take my exhaust and cold air off to get the software update. My car has 21000 miles on it. Just started doing this last month. A total of 4 times. Pissed off

Welcome to the club, i actually had to call Ford Corp to get some type of results. After waiting 3 weeks I was told that they think its a bad throttle body, but they will try to get me some type of recorder that hooks up to the computer. Im all stock by the way. Seems to be happening to the 6 speed manuals...

Took it on the highway, got on it pretty hard 151 in 5th. Hit the clutch hit brakes car shows a wrench sign. Tried to give it gas but it would not accelerate. Turned the car off, started back up, took a little longer then normal, Long start. Hooked up the code sct x4, scan for codes. Code p2111 popped up. Throttle Actuator A control system stuck open. Taking it to my Tuner as soon as I can. Car still pulls hard as hell like it never happened. No lights on the dash. Hopefully since this code popped up, it can be fixed

Just took a 2016 GT Premium out on a test drive at a local dealer since I am about to be in the market. As I was pulling back into the lot the engine turned off and went into "full accessory power mode" or whatever.

I was turning into the lot in second gear but had to come to stop on a ramp so went into Neutral w/ foot on brake. When it was time to go I switched to 1st and gave it some gas but 0 power. Had to press button to start engine.

The car had 320 miles on it. The salesperson seemed surprised but basically shook it off. I did as well at the time because I thought it may have been something I did? I guess not.

Shit happened again smh. Slowed down to stop, pressed in the clutch, hit the brake put it in neutral ,car shut off. Didn't even realize it until I tried to pull off. Run active sign popped up. Started the car again, it acted like it wanted to shut off again. Had to give it gas. This is ridiculous. Talked to my Tuner he said has nothing to do with the tune especially since other people are reporting the same issue without a tune. After it shut down, i pulled over scanned for codes and nothing. I had a previous code pop up for the throttle body sticking open. Im hoping this has something to do with throttle body. Stock throttle body is cheap.

You need to report this to Ford. Not the dealership but the actual cooperation or headquarters. He mentioned more and more people needed to call and complain about this issue before they make a big move. I forgot to update you guys with that info....
Heres the number to call. +1 800-392-3673
