I can drive my car with no issues. But the second i shut it off and only use radio, it dies. Ive gotten my battery tested, and they said it is good. Any thoughts? Some people keep saying alternator but some are saying starter. I dont know at this point what to replace. 2015 mustang gt. No real parasitic drains aside from dash cam using power from cigarette lighter input……thoughts?

what do you mean it dies? Are you talking about your battery dies if you only play the radio with the engine off?

battery and or alternator. How old is battery? If the battery tested good then it should not be the alternator. If the battery is bad, then it could just be the battery or the battery and alternator.
I assume you mean the battery dies?

It sounds like the battery, especially if it's the original one.
When they tested the battery, did they do a load test, or just a voltage test?
If a battery was completely dead, or just holding enough charge to start the car, the car would continue to run because the alternator is supplying the power needs, But with the car shut off, then it's just the battery supplying power, which it sounds like it's not.

If youre using the car with the ignition on and its dying. Replace the battery. If you have already replaced the battery and you have a known good battery. Replace the alternator. Bad alternators will kill good batteries quick. The starter should have nothing to do with this.
