I found something interesting yesterday. I was messing with the electrical and found about 5 loose fuses in the fuse box, some of which had to do with engine components. I am hoping/thinking that that may solve my issue.

I did a short test drive of a 2016 Mustang GT Premium PP this past summer, slow drive through a neighborhood. I didn't buy that car, as I just starting to car shop. As I pulled back into the dealership, and came to a complete stop, the engine stalled for no reason. I was a little taken aback since I haven't had that happen in years, even driving old cars. The salesman didn't have anything to offer. I brushed it off, thinking maybe because car was brand new.

Perhaps you test drove a 15? I don't think the 16's were out during the summer. I always thought next year model car comes out August of the current year at the earliest.

That doesn't apply to the Mustang. New models can come out as early as March. The original Mustang went on sale April of 1964.

Thanks. I guess if the 16's are still stalling then the TSB will not cure 15's random stall issue.

almost certain is was a 2016. And it might have been in August. Brand new inventory.

I did have one strange incident in my car. I was at the gas station, and turned off my car, and I am fairly certain it turned itself back on. I wasn't sure if that was my imagination, so I pretended like that didn't happen. I am a little suspicious of cars these days, with all their software, and push button starts, and key fobs. I prefer the old fashion mechanical keys. Turn the key, it starts. That's it. No Microsoft Windows or whatever required to make that happen. I haven't read through this thread, but it wouldn't surprise me if this issue is a software glitch.

Hi there FordTechOne. Do you know if this TSB actually fixes the issue?
I cannot personally confirm this. However, a TSB is never released without a definite issue being identified, so if you have a concern related to the issue described in the TSB, chances are it will resolve the issue with your vehicle.

There is a guy in the AtlantaS550 club with a new 2016 Roush that Nalley Ford can't figure out so they are shipping it back to Roush for inspection. Maybe they can find it under the microscope.
Personally I would be curious to see if this it tied to the MAP sensor and whether it occurs only in certain elevations.

This happened again today and I am getting tired of it. I don't drive the car enough as it's a 2015 with just over 2K miles only. Coasting to a stop in neutral and I just hear the idle go low then dead. This seems to happen whether the car is hot or cold. I've experienced this about 5-6 times so far within the 2K miles. My first new Ford and most likely my last any Ford. Good thing it's not a daily driver. Anyone experiencing this have any success having the dealer reflash with TSB15-0128? I believe the TSB is for low idle or idle dip.

I know it's a long thread, so I won't suggest reading it all. But I think someone in here said that they had a bad throttle body and replacing it fixed the issue.

Send a PM to Ford Service on this board. They will get back to you.

My stalling issue resolved! Ford was saying it's Roush and Roush was saying it's Ford. Nalley Ford had my 15 Stage 3 Roush for the last 2 weeks of January. They removed the original Roush tune and updated the Roush tune. So far no problems with it stalling. Yay for Ford Service for taking car of this for me

New here and just got my 2016 Mustang GT Premium (not PP) little over a month ago, and had same problem as you all describe, after about 700miles, although under slightly different circumstances than when coming to a stop light.
Car is completely stock. Problem happened when entering the freeway - as I had traffic coming up from behind I accelerated quickly (not full throttle, but "frisky") through 2nd & 3rd, and making a relative slow shift into 4th as I had gained speed. When lifting off the clutch, i began to feel like the car is braking, similar to engine braking, and first thought I had hit 2nd instead of 4th, quickly pressed down the clutch again, quickly put it in N and back in 4th gear and same happened when releasing clutch pedal- also no throttle response. Looked at gauges and saw "Full accessory Power Active" message and rpm at 0. Car had died in total silence so I hand't even noticed it. Start button was blinking. I pressed the OK button on the steering wheel to clear the message, and car fired back up again and drove like nothing happened. Didn't even have to press the start button. I know some of you got a slightly different message - something like "run power active" - It caught me by surprise, so I quickly pressed the OK button to clear the msg as I was about to stall completely on the freeway, and hasn't happened since for me to confirm it, but am 99% sure thats what it said.
Also, looking through earlier msg, I only saw people mentioning this as a mustang 15 issue.... not sure if has been pointed out or noticed before, but if you google "run power active" or "Full accessory Power Active" issue, it seems there is several other Ford models having similar issues..... Hope Ford will figure it out soon

Only message I could find in the owner's manual that looked close was "Accessory Power Active", which means "your vehicle is in the accessory ignition state". Probably just means the car stalled and the accessory power was still on because you didn't hit the start/stop button.

I didn't see any message in the owner's manual that resembled "Run Power Active".
