OG Tire Dressing and Hyper Dressing are different products.
Roger that, D. I didn't think they could be but it was quite a concidence with the bottle and color. Thanks, I'll go back to the original plan and pick up some at Autozone.

Just got done replacing a leaking radiator! Yes, the whole front clip is off. installing a tow hook and removing the whole front clip is equal work or possibly less than separating the bellypan/splitter from the front clip.

A question for the experts...

I found what I think are the two types of Meg's Hyperdressing. The black labeled bottle does say "READY TO USE" so it must be the diluted version to be used on the engine bay, yes?

The second bottle has no marking for RTU and again I will presume this is the UNdiluted version? Can D or anyone else confirm?

Gently spray washed a few days before using tire foam then wiped off with cloth and toothbrush.

Can’t say I’ve seen the white bottle before, KB. The bottle with RTU on the label is all I’ve ever seen. So I would assume (we all know what happens when we assume 🤭) that the white bottle is not diluted

I have seen the bottle on the left at the local Oreillys. BUT according to D, even though it is ready to use, it still needs to be dilluted especially for engine bays... I was going to do 1:1 at the very least if/when I buy some.

The white bottle is the concentrate form, I'm guessing you purchased it from Obsessed Garage?

As far as I can tell, only Obsessed Garage offer Hyper Dressing concentrate in the 32-oz bottle. Early on, he was buying Hyper Dressing in bulk and bottling it in those Meguiar's bottles. He was doing this because for the average enthusiast, a gallon of concentrate is waaaay overboard. Going back a few years now, I couldn't get Hyper Dressing here, so I imported a concentrate bottle from OG.

For a while there, Meguiar's stopped making Hyper Dressing due to ingredient shortages, so OG had to substitute it for Carpro Perl. It's now back in production and OG have recommenced offering Hyper Dressing in concentrate and diluted forms. The difference with OG's ready-to-use Hyper Dressing is that they diluted it to 4:1 instead of the store-bought 1:1. They offer the following -

- 32-oz Concentrate (in Megs bottles)
- Gallon Concentrate (in Megs bottles)

- 32-oz RTU (4:1 in OG bottles)
- Gallon RTU (4:1 in OG bottles)

They are now putting the RTU in their own bottle and label design................................

Keep in mind Hyper Dressing was designed for professional/high volume detailers. That's why the concentrate is only available in larger 1- and 5-gallon drums.

Hyper Dressing undiluted or 1:1 is very glossy.

For the RTU form, I'd cut that again 50/50 with demineralized water, which in theory would be 4:1.

That's what I meant :) I only have access to RTU.

Thanks you two and yes D, I did get the concentrated bottle from OG and the RTU from Autozone.

And Mark, you were obviously correct that the white bottle is the concentrated version. Good call.

I don't plan to use it on tires though, just matts and other rubber surfaces like my pickup bed folding cap that is black rubber/vinyl. What you see on Sarah is OG's Tire Dressing.

wonder what the RTU would do on my pickups soft roll up cover?
Is 303 self leveling and drying?
use it on rubber floor mats?
how about outside plastic molding parts?

Hyper Dressing was designed as an all-in-one solution for detailers, so it can be used on all unpainted plastic/rubber interior and exterior surfaces. Just know that its water based and won't last forever on exterior surfaces, same as 303. Just know that at the RTU 1:1 dilution, it would be significantly glossier than 303.

I've also used it to refresh plastic wheel arch liners. Just like on an engine bay, all you have to do mist the product on and walk away, the self-levelling means you don't have to work it in with a towel or applicator. And unlike solvent based products (such as Bare Bones), it doesn't attract/hold onto dirt and dust.
