Enclosed Trailer & Towing Help

I've seen similar setups before at 1320's and The Texas Mile, Jeff so I have an eye deer. I'd much rather hit the rack in a nice hotel room, too...as much as I hate hotels. :-)

Beautiful Trailer Jeff

I tow with my MH so I haul my hotel room with me. But, there are times when the hotel is a nice place to rest your head.

I would say my trailer is just above the average their are some that require a semi to haul so to speak hold two cars and have sleeping quarters. I'm a hotel person.......

with a 26ft, when i went to PBDm ii just brought a sleeping bag and pillow and slept in the front portion of the trailer. Only for the 1st night as i was getting in town at 3am anyway. proper room for the rest of the trip.. but still , nice to know its feasible

Spent 1/2 the day giving my car a fluff & buff, and loading everything up for my first trip in the AM. Off to Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA. Hope to see some of you there.

I will see you Friday a bunch of us are leaving at 7AM from Frederick to head up to Carlisle. I pulled the plug on Pocono with no track day and me flying solo it made no sense to go sit in a hotel.

Seven hour ride with no issues. I am blown away with how this truck towed the trailer/car/luggage/family. Absolutely flawlessly. Truck pulled it without effort, smooth & quiet. I couldn’t have asked for a better ride. The massaging seats didn’t hurt either, lol.

Thank you, It is a great time. Wife and I came down 5 years ago, but it rained most of the time. This time the wether looks pretty good all weekend.

I'm glad but also not surprised to hear of your experience. These newer 1/2 ton trucks are really spectacular.

As you can imagine, individual driving experience will change MPG. Full disclosure, I let her eat often. I average 80mph and got between 9-10 MPG. Also, where I live, and where I went is super hilly, which eats gas.

That said, the truck pulled it effortlessly. My last F150 with a V8 and 6 speed stayed in redline forever. This twin turbo V6 didn’t hit redline once.

Well, packed up the trailer for storage, now that Mustang Week has been cancelled, I probably won't use it till next year. Funny thing is my spare, for the spare arrived the day i left for Carlisle. Oh well, is what it is.

My OCD can rest, as the feng shui side of my brain is happy now.
