They don't like it much at all either way. 1st and 2nd are essentially useless lol
This. But without the pill it feels like a more natural transition.

Cheers guys, I've just removed it and yeah it's better. Just there straight away.

Do you need to re-calibration to run without the pill? Seen as how you will see boost sooner without the delay in the transition to boost.

Yes, I received the brass sensor, just did not get the correct harness to fit the sensor. I just talked to Tony in tech support. He said that some kits were shipped out with the wrong harness. For those that need a new harness just e-mail him at [email protected]. Put the supercharger part number in the subject line (1586). Put your ship to address in the e-mail along with the need for a new IAT harness. He will ship out a new harness 2nd day delivery. Tony is a really nice guy and easy to deal with.
Just sent Tony an email.

2nd day delivery has now been since May 15th waiting for the harness. I know I could cut and solder, but should just be plug and play.

Hopefully he can get me fixed up ASAP.

Well I just got an appointment to get my clutch done next week at an actual S550 performance joint which makes me feel a lot better. I was kind of leery of taking it to a generic shop with some of the strange items you have to do like the crank relearn.

After that I'll be loading revision 3 of my lund tune to check for emissions readiness since I have to pass it in this state. Be interesting to see if that tune readies emissions with this kit compared to the EB tune.

Good luck on the clutch!!

I’m curious about the emissions as well. What sort of test do yous have there?

Ours in Ontario was actually just eliminated...

@ForYourOwnGood just out of curiosity (from a state that doesn't require emissions testing) do they actually test or do they take your car's word for it? I noticed during the short "drive-able" time I had the EB tune on my car I was getting a flashing engine light with KOEO. After I got my dyno tune it went back to solid.

All my readiness lights came on in less then 15 miles with my emissions tune.

I take it that your emissions tune is different than the tune provided by Edelbrock? If so which tuner wrote your emissions tune?

Nope.. my final revision is the tune I run all the time. I don’t have a emissions tune and a performance tune if that’s what you are asking. The last tune I received is what I am running. It’s solid as a rock. If you have all your emission related parts installed you will pass emissions. I don’t run the Edelbrock tune. Lund Racing tuned my SC.

On a side note... Tony and Nick took care of me AGAIN! New harness on the way!

Love or hate the product, but you can’t beat the customer service Edelbrock has given me!
