That is a very nice finished look. The inlet and throttle body opening seems it will be the limiting factor in airflow. PD are very sensitive to inlet restrictions, so while it may be fine at the lower advertised power level it doesn't appear to have much room to grow. I think the throttle body was only 85mm.

The heat exchanger is 50% bigger than the old one (165 sq. in. vs. 110 in the old one).

You mean cubic inches not square...that is still small the one in the DOB kit is 202 cubic inches. Just as importantly the flow rate is four times higher with the DOB kit than the Edelbrock.

Talked to Edelbrock yesterday. Specs, Ordering and Dyno Chart will be available in 6-8 weeks on the 2015+ E-Force Superchargers. My guess is they are dealing with CARB issues and getting it tuned so they meet emissions standards.

Thanks - I had called them about a month ago and then they said mid March so when I saw the 2016 Camaro SS announcement I was a bit disappointed.

Edelbrock is a solid company and no doubt CARB is a time consuming bear. They have "missed" from SEMA which was availability early 2016, the a month ago told me mid March, and now you are hearing any where from later April to mid May.

Oh well...all good things come to those...and a rushed product launch is a bad product launch. Edelbrock are active on Twitter, FB, and InstaGram so maybe they should join here. :clap2:

Once again - thanks

Pete

They have their work cut out for them considering how many good PD blowers are available for the 2015 and proven already.

If they don't come in with a price closer to the centrifugal blowers I can't see them taking much of the market away from the other companies.

My guess is it will come out in the $7,000 to $7,500 range - simply because it looks "straight from the factory" and because Edelbrock's name is on it. If in fact it pulls 700+HP in a Stage 1 version as they have claimed, as well as being able to leave the stock strut tower brace in place, they will have no problem selling it.

My only worry is how much room for growth it has, doesn't seem like u can put a larger TB on it... and I'll have to have a custom tube made to mate up to my steeda cai box lol
