I have a GT but not S550-old antique fox body. 4 figure power, street driven regularly so power is no issue, traction however IS....


But, when I take a long trip, I certainly miss the ecoboost's FORTY mpg which is why I ordered a new one.

I wanna race, I have one for that. I want to drive like a sane person, Ecoboost.

"All" I have is an Ecoboost, and I constantly have to restrain myself from letting her really rip! Pretty sure I could get myself in a whole lotta trouble should my restraints fail... Personally, I'd probably just be frustrated with a V8, but I'm sure that's just me. That, and I actually only wanted a 4-cylinder turbo.

I bought a 2020 GT/PP1 about 14 months ago. It's my daily and even though during my commute the 300hp Eco boost would be more than enough for traffic there is one compelling reason above all else for me, the sound, even piddle farting around at 3 grand it just sounds great going up and down through the gears. I'm sure there are a few good exhausts for the Eco but nothing will ever sound like a classic V8. And for my driving style (boring) and my commute, my car averages 23mpg pretty easy.

No regrets! It’s basically the same interior and exterior but a totally different car! Eco boost was a lot of fun but the GT is epic. Enjoy the last of the V8s.

I had a 2016 ecoboost PP and traded for a 2018 GT and am very happy with it. Get the active exhaust!!

OK you're right I overreacted. We should encourage all opinions and comments on the forums.
But, to be technical, it was one thread, one forum, but three comments:

Nothing wrong with an EB mustang other than the car is too heavy for a 4 cylinder, they sound like dogshit (worse than a coyote if that's even possible), and are overpriced.

You dissed the EB on weight and price, and both EB and GT on sound.
So what do you like? The 2023 Z06 maybe? Couldn't blame you if you did.

Over here there is a purple color that is officially called "Oil Slick Blue Purple" (P2/M7475) only for MY 2022 EU spec.
I guess it is the same color but the name has a bit more appeal than "Mischievous Purple".

The new z06 sounds HEAVENLY! Would love to have one.

Ive had 4 Mustangs and very much enjoy the current platform. The EB, in itself, is a great motor. I just prefer to see it in commuter cars and small pick ups. That's my only gripe.

the GR86 is an unlikely runner up but its backseat just isn't big enough for humans.
