I don't know how much it costs in Canada even thou my wife is Canadian. Anyway.. I paid for my EB PP (MRSP $29780) just $25700! Even got 1 year of free oil but I won't use it...and I did a hard ( by hard I mean, the salesman probably shit in his pants...actually he told me that there was a lot of cops in that area..and I said that I rather paid the fine and leave what I like it best) and I end up with the EB PP, instead of the V8! Up to you...each one have different views in what and how to drive.

One does not buy a Mustang worrying about MPG. That said my GT with 3:55 gears/Auto gets 17mpg city 24 hwy. Put a Lund Flex Tune and low flow aftermarket cat back exhaust on. I put Corsa Extreme exhaust on mine and I like the aggressive sound. Go large you won't regret it.
I don't totally agree. Depends on what you want to do with the car. My Acura was boring and my Vette doesn't have a back seat, so I bought the Mustang to be my DD to drive our grandson around that is due in April, so as a DD mileage is a factor.

If it was to be my play car, I agree 100%.

First one is Edmonds second from car and driver. First is not PP second is. Yes handling is better for Ecoboost PP vs GT PP. Straight line speed is GT. MPG is Ecoboost. Most of what I read from a twisty driving standpoint the Ecoboost is better balanced and lighter feeling. I feel that way and bought it for both that reason and as a DD MPG. Guilt factor plays a part, Eco is more or less guilt free fun.

Get the base gt. I was in the same boat 5 months ago and opted for the fully loaded ecoboost. Test drove a base gt with preformance package on last Sunday. Would have brought it home if they didn't want 4500 down(I only had 3500 and they wouldn't negotiate with me).
BUY THE GT

The insurance was cheaper on a gt then the ecoboost

Do you NEED the V8 sound?

If yes, get the GT. No matter what you do to the EB, you won't satisfy the V8 itch. If you don't need the sound, get the EBPP. It's a much better handling car stock, and they are very fun with some light modding. Plus the investment cost, fuel economy, and insurance will be lower.

I'd look into an EB, but I don't like the thought of dicks in and around my face.

Both have pros and cons. Ecoboost better mpg, cheaper, lighter. GT more power, better sound, torque.
I'd honestly say if you can afford the gas and tires get the GT. The ecoboost is handicapped by it's subpar cooling system that would require a couple grand to remedy. I love the ecoboost but won't own another till I can drive one and not lose 40 hp because it's heat soaked after the first 20 seconds of running the car hard.
And how is the Ecoboost cooling system subpar?

If you are talking about the intercooler that can be upgraded for $500 but is only needed if you track it, as a daily driver it is just fine.
