What he said about the pp and also if you look at the s550 from the back it just looks perfect/clean without the little tiny spoiler. It already has a nice upward curve at the end of the trunk
Cleaner look. Spoiler looks like a tacked on after thought, its only functional purpose is adding weight. ;)
I got spoiler delete because the PP came that way. Looking at pictures online the base spoiler doesn't look that good anyway. I would rather the clean look or possibly a more aggressive or functional spoiler if I was going to put holes in the trunk.

What have I done.... If I wanted to remove it myself, would there be holes in the trunk?
I never really thought about it, cause I was so excited ordering it

I wouldn't worry too much. A lot of people say the look of the spoiler grows on them...and its really so small it doesn't look horrible.

ya thats true. I never thought about the smooth look finish though. Then again when he asked me I never really remembered ever seeing one on a stang. Either their so small no one notices, or no one got them haha either way its all good. :headbang:

The stock lip spoiler is very thin. From 10 feet out you can hardly see it.

It's nice for closing the trunk without denting it as some people on here have done

I want a spoiler that is an extension of the rear uptick instead of being on the op of the trunk like factory. I like the roush one but it extends a bit too much IMO

For me, it wasn't worth it since I wanted a Base anyways....and I'm starting to doubt those who say it was. Seriously, a lot of people who got the PP are changing out the parts anyways. If that was their plan, why waste the money up front?

The only thing I wanted from the PP was the wheels, so I didn't bother as I'll be able to find those later on ebay or something.

Mine is a base trim with performance package..... The parts might be getting changed out but they can be done later on. A big brake kit alone costs as much as the performance package did, but the pp brakes are very very good, completely faultless on the road and plenty for a novice driver on a track. Bonus, the big brembos don't fit anything smaller than 19" wheels which means no sidewalls and expensive tires. The pp brakes fit 18s and some 17s so I have more winter wheel/tire options and for my winter tires they're both cheaper and more pothole/curb resistant than 19s wrapped in skinny 40 aspect ratio tires.
