I'd leave it white ... seems to go well with the white shock towers.

I think looking just at the engine bay the red on the cover seems a bit odd. Once I paint my calipers red and do a few other things in red it will all look nice together. I'm going to have the roof either wrapped or painted gloss black then the antenna dome done in red to match the cover and the Roush logos.

Glad you're back on the road! One final round of touch ups and Spring will be here soon. Weather in SE Mich this weekend is a tease!

Yeah 50 today, sucks it's raining though. I would've taken the car out for a nice drive.

Congrats on getting everything fixed and having it back!

Just curious - what type of warranty do you have on the replacement (serious question)?

Since it was all done by the dealership I have my full engine warranty reinstated, like nothing ever happened. I could of went a cheaper route with someone else but I would of then only had a 3 year warranty on the parts, wouldn't of included labor or anything else.

Congrats Matt on getting your Mustang back home. And thanks for sharing your "saga" with this forum. I'm exhausted having read all 500+ posts over all this time.

Wow! After only reading some of this, too much to read all, I'm afraid to install a Roush CAI on my V6! Forget about a tune! So I didn't find that exact post, but it looks like the OP had to pay for the engine.

This thread applies mostly to the Ecoboost motors. The engine from the v6 holds up just fine with mods and a tune.
