See I can get 18, maybe 19mpg if I conscientiously drive conservatively or what most people would call "normal." But if I enjoy my car, which I doOur 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0t gets about 25 mpg on average with 26k miles. Our Ecoboost with 3k miles gets 19 mpg average. This despite the fact that the Mustang has a better mpg rating than the Hyundai CUV. My 2012 Hyundai Genesis coupe 3.8 GT also started out under 20 mpg and eventually settled into 24-25 range after about 10k miles.
I expect the Mustang to also settle down eventually.
