Yeah see.. I looked on the website, they have a 30-day money back guarantee.. I'm not so sure you can cancel after 30 days.. I'll have to find out eventually.

edit:

That would be great.. Lol.
Let me know how it goes AR306, I am in a similar situation but ever since getting the extended warranty all i've had are headaches going to the dealership to do any kind of work. I don't even want the warranty anymore and would prefer to do it at a smaller private shop.

I have a situation that occurred for an oil change but when I had my car returned 2.5 hours later, I found that there were marks of a gps being installed on my front windshield and signs of a rear occupant in the passenger side seat. My gas also dropped down by about 15 miles.

Just drove from Atl to Birmingham, all hwy with traffic at 70-75 and got 32mpg over 2 tanks of gas calculated by hand. Your car definitely has something wrong with it. Why are you afraid to take it to the dealer? They aren't going to require you to get a colonoscopy first...
The only thing that's wrong with the car is the way he's driving it and/or his methods on calculating fuel economy.

He stated after you posted that he's getting 35MPG highway....if there was something wrong, his highway fuel economy would be low as well, and there's a 99% chance it would have a CEL with engine performance related DTCs.

It sounds like he's resetting the Average Fuel Economy and then driving in stop and go traffic, which will result in very low readings. At a stop, you're getting 0 MPG, so when you average that with the 20+ MPG you're getting when moving, it results in an unrealistic average.

To get an accurate fuel economy reading, you need to fill the tank, reset the system, and then look at the combined average of all of the various types of driving (city/highway) after at least one full tank of fuel has been used.
