There is a lot more to it than just the material. The premium seats are also power adjustable to go up down, front back and lumbar support. Plus heating and cooling

All of which you could get in cloth seats if Ford would decide so...

All car manufactuers bundle options to maximize profits and keep costs down. If they allowed you to pick and choose the options you wanted manufacturing costs would go way up and there wouldn't be a need for sub models.

They always put the most desirable options in a higher trim level or bundle to force you to pay for things you otherwise wouldn't. Who would ever buy rain sensing wipers if it was a stand alone option for several hundred dollars.

Yes, exactly
And it also brings back the old Henry Ford statement “A customer can have a car painted any color he wants as long as it’s black", meaning the least customization combinations, the easier it is for em to build em, and the bigger the profits are...

OK Mustangers...see how much better these threads work when everyone plays well together! Civility goes a long way to promote communication. Before I recommend Katzskins custom leather seats to spruce up base V-6 interiors, I would like to thank JTMAT for giving me that high compliment, "RHM beats to a different drum"! Meant as a put down, I most assuredly relish that uniqueness. Or as Jonathan Davis puts it, "You laugh at me because I am different, I laugh at you because you are all the same." Now back to the seats,... for less money than Ford charges for their premium leather you can design custom leather seats in 60 different colors. I did like the 50 Year Appearance package leather seats with the embossed stampede, but Ford only had them made in black...I wanted the two toned brown. So I couldn't get what I wanted in the GT Premium vert...then No dice on the EB...then no leather on the V-6 vert. So I bought the bargain V-6 vert and added the custom purple and gold leather seats (see jtmat, a very different drum). And I will use the vert to tailgate at LSU Football games, hence the purple and gold gaudy seats. Oh and one other thing, EcoSwag990, those gaudy seats don't make my "Butt Hurt"! LOL.

Neither! I had the turbo 4 in my old 09 Cobalt SS and the Inline 6 in my E46 M3. The SS motor was way cool with the blow off sound and smoke quite a few Mustangs, SRT's, and imports. The E46 M3 motor was simply one the best. However, nothing sounds as well as the 4.6 liter in my 07 Shelby GT, 5.0 in my 15 GT, and the 5.7 in my ZO6.

If I had two pick between the two, I would pick the 4, because gas mileage and the aftermarket potential. The V6 would be a close second, due to history and I think it is more respectable considering it is Mustang we are talking about.

There is one sound that tops the 4.6L 3v, 4.6L 4v, or even the 5.0L Coyote in any exhaust configuration; a big block V8. I had one up until 2 years ago in my truck (it was totaled); a 7.5 L (460 cu-in). That loping low frequency rumble that vibrates the ground is likely gone now forever. The V10 (6.8L) in the replacement sounds like a milk truck missing on a few cylinders in comparison. Ah, the 7.5L. . . .

Good review. Thanks for sharing Spartan. There is the word "comfortable" used in the article...thankfully, the reviewer doesn't place the word "more" in front of it. Wouldn't want another sematics scrimmage to break out.LOL.

The Cloth Seats in the Base V6 ordered with the Optional 051A Package also include the Power Drivers Seat with adjustable Lumbar Support, (minus) the Heated/Cooled feature. Like you need "heated" Seats in Florida, lmao.

No, but the air conditioned seats work well... nothing like putting sweaty b***s on cloth. No photos, please.

LOL

*just kidding... had cloth for a while... not a big deal... just giving you a jab. lol
