Sorry, not talking to you. mainly those that want to argue the hierarchy of Stock power. But I won...........
^Exactly... Anyone who has driven a 15 v6 can tell you that it is much more powerful in the low end the the 14s. Our V6 is pushing out over 250tq from 2.5k rpm and up where as the 14 doesn't produce that much torque tell 3.5-4k... Add to that the fact that a simple mod like an axleback exhaust opens up about 15hp and 15tq, the 15 is overall much more powerful and "quicker" then a base 14. I think my modded V6 could certainly give an EB a run for its money. I certainly wouldn't be 2 car lengths behind...It's still a 2014.
Until I see a 2015 v6 vs a 2015 EB these comparisons arent really that informative.
Only time will tell. Haven't seen any v6ers take their car to the strip^Exactly... Anyone who has driven a 15 v6 can tell you that it is much more powerful in the low end the the 14s. 3.55 puts 30% more torque to the wheels, everything else being equal. Your EB still likely has quite a bit more torque than a lightly modded 2014 V6, so that compounded on the huge gearing advantage.Even though he was modded and I'm stock on 91?
I didn't know it put more torque to the wheels. I thought it just let the car accelerate faster.3.55 puts 30% more torque to the wheels, everything else being equal. Your EB still likely has quite a bit more torque than a lightly modded 2014 V6, so that compounded on the huge gearing advantage.
It's not at all surprising you won by a good deal.
Wut. Gearing ratios allows you to climb through your RPM band quicker, it doesn't put "more torque to the wheels".3.55 puts 30% more torque to the wheels, everything else being equal.
