My EB 50 yr edition NEW was 50K. The used GT I traded it for was 46K. 50K for an EB!! 46 for a GT ? WTF!
Yea, i wanted a mustang that bad. Driving a mustang here is like driving a Ferrari in the states. Breaking necks all day, Yay!

Why did I trade for the v8? Sound, Power, and that 5.0 badge. basically. If your concerned about those things then I think you made a good choice swapping over to the gt.

Sorry that I asked the question again. Albeit, I'm sure it will assist some new visitors, and with current up to date data, too...
Do random peoples opinion on the interwebs influence your car buying decisions? How so will random peoples opinion on why they bought a certain trim level help others exactly?

My daily driver.
I don't race it or track it.
I wanted all options, without paying 50k.
Most importantly, I don't use it to measure myself against other people I don't know or care about.

So essentially money. I'd love a GT - but I don't need the power, sound, or ego that comes with it. Maybe back in my 20's before I had kids, but what 20 year old can afford a $50k car? I want the power, but don't need it.
Bought my Performance Package GT for 27k. I'm 23. You can get a v8 slightly used at a very reasonable price.

I see why a couple missed my point. I wanted all the 2018 bells and whistles. You're not getting that in a 18GT for <$40k.
