A 5.0 is a GT....early July, I upgraded to a 5.0 (not GT, and simply a base model)...
Do random peoples opinion on the interwebs influence your car buying decisions? How so will random peoples opinion on why they bought a certain trim level help others exactly?Sorry that I asked the question again. Albeit, I'm sure it will assist some new visitors, and with current up to date data, too...
Because it just will!Do random peoples opinion on the interwebs influence your car buying decisions? How so will random peoples opinion on why they bought a certain trim level help others exactly?

Bought my Performance Package GT for 27k. I'm 23. You can get a v8 slightly used at a very reasonable price. My daily driver.
I don't race it or track it.
I wanted all options, without paying 50k.
Most importantly, I don't use it to measure myself against other people I don't know or care about.
So essentially money. I'd love a GT - but I don't need the power, sound, or ego that comes with it. Maybe back in my 20's before I had kids, but what 20 year old can afford a $50k car? I want the power, but don't need it.
