Yes the DI makes a huge difference. I wouldn't put a catch can in a Coyote. I was referring to the 2.3 EB not the 5.0, but neglected to mention the DI factor. Thanks for clarifying.
Some people swear by them, but I agree, I don't think a Coyote needs a catch can.

The Mustang really hadn't been on my radar until I started hearing about the EB, and think it would be cool to hyper-mile.

I'm encouraged to learn that most of the EB owners are looking to unload their under-powered, lame sounding four bangers, as I will have plenty of low-mile garage queens to pick and choose from...

So far have only seen one in my area for sale on CL, and the price is almost as much as buying new.

i bought a ecoboost after having driven both,as my mate has the gt the ecoboost has enough power for me,but having said that i would have bought a 350 shelby in a heartbeat if i lived in the US,they are not available down here in nanny state central(Australia). You have to be basically rich to have a shelby down here so that leaves me out.

Get what will make you happy. I didn't and I regret it every day. I bought a base 16 GT in Magnetic, because of 0% interest, and I got a great deal at $5,200 off MSRP. But I really wanted a 2017 Lightning Blue EB Premium w PP. i secretly regret it everyday, but I can't tell my wife I want to trade it in and eat probably $10,000 loss. So now I'm stuck with it for at least 10 years.
Lol...naw you are lying about wanting an eb, even if they offered you an even trade that EB for your GT with absolutely no downpayment required, no increase in monthly, no equity loss....i bet you wouldnt do it. Hell even if they took up the payments for a few months im sure you wouldnt do it

Yeah, don't believe this one bit.

If you're serious though.....add an exhaust and then tell me you regret not getting a 4 cylinder.

Whether it needs it - I don't know - but I routinely pour quite a bit of oil out of mine... Would you rather have it in your intake ?

The oil just burns off anyway, it's designed that way. I'm not concerned.

that's exactly why catch cans are so popular. people think the buckets of oil theyre pouring out of it is ending up in the intake somewhere, but in reality, it's burned off instantly.

Ok, just to make you jealous... here's my 2017 GT Premium in Lightning Blue with Performance Pack, leather Recaros & Nav.

That's a beautiful car, but it's far past my budget. I was in the 30k bracket and needed the 0%, that's a $40,000 car, and if you didn't just pay cash, your payments are probably around $500. Mine is $350

I still prefer Deep Impact Blue over Lightning Blue. Just really like that deep blue tone. But... I am envious about one thing: DIB is almost as hard to keep clean as a black car. Those with lightning blue probably have less trouble.

What exactly do you think I'm hatin'?

Maybe I forgot to engage the sarcasm filter

As an outsider looking in I see some ruffled feathers in this thread by people with an attitude "go big, or go home"

See it all the time in the motorcycle realm..."liter bike or nothing"

I don't know why everyone blows up over these threads. But you see these on every forum! Economics is the biggest factory in buying. If money was no object. We'd all be driving GT350/500s. Probably less than 5% of people on this forum WANT a EB or a V6. Just so they can say their being different. Or maybe they have a long commute and cant see buying a 40-70 grand car. That will be worthless in six years. When it has 150K miles on it. This post should just enrage the EB crowd more. But lets face it. When it comes to sports cars. Everyone want the top trim. Not the bottom. I'll be the first to say. If I can have a GT500 without it effecting other facets of my life. I'd be driving one. I don't know why people get upset when the higher trim is always recommended.

Yeah, that's the way of it. However, it's worth noting that the budget enthusiast sweet spot is closer to the GT than the EB. Yes, yes, even with a GT, the GT350 guys will look down on you. But take it from me, having owned both an EB and a GT... you take a lot less sh*t from the community if you go GT. And honestly... for the money, I think the GT is worth it if you can afford it. It's a faster car with a nice sweet sound.

That being said, I don't trash my Mustang brothers with EBs and V6s... I know how it is, man. And unless you're Donald Trump or something, you gotta live on a budget. Gotta weigh the pros and cons and all that sh*t.
