Every car I've ever owned has a dedicated button to re-sync the climate control after a picky passenger decides to change their side of the car by 0.5 degrees. With this car, do I really need to exit Carplay, click climate control, and select "sync"? There has to be a better way to do this...

Does the '18 have mechanical buttons/switches for the CC or is it all by touchscreen. The '16 has buttons and a quick power off/power on will resync the driver and passenger side temperatures.

I have buttons for the cc; heat/cool seat buttons, +/- for the fans, the middle button is the power.. etc. Are you saying pushing the power button twice essentially syncs the temperature to the driver side?

I sure am. Was a chance discovery when trying to do exactly what you want to do. Give it a second or two after shutoff to power it back up.

Voice commands? You mean like talk to the car??? The only thing I ever say to my car is, "You FPOS!" when something doesn't work right or breaks.

I'm not sure about the Mustang, but in other Fords holding the Auto button pressed for two seconds will bring the settings back in sync (and they'll remain synced thereafter).
