I have this issue with my 2017 Mustang gt whereby if I drive it for about 1 1/2 hours or longer the centre 3 vents give very slight temperatures disparities. The two on the left in the centre vents tend to get slightly cooler and the right side one remains at the temperature I set for example 20 degrees. I set it on auto. If I were to go to the dual option and change the driver or passenger side temps up or down then at the same temperature like 20 the system corrects itself. Is this normal with the climate control feature?
My climate control centre module has been replaced by the dealership and they said it’s normal to notice a slight difference of 2 degrees either way. I’ve never had this problem with previous cars and only wanted to find out the cause in case it was the dreaded evaporator on its way out but that is working fine according to the dealership. Is this normal?

I have the similar situation. His-hers temp controls are not precise. I just live with it, like that rattles on dash and trunk. However, Mustang in general, exterior and interior, sings Rod Stewart's da ya think i'm sexy... heck yeah.

So is the AC cooling on seats -- worst I've experienced. It's good for cooling pair of ball bearings only and leaves back sweating (no cool air there).

If there are unintended temp differences then my first thought would be blend doors not sealing/closing properly. Or possibly with deteriorating foam.
It's not the evap core. That would leave you with no cold air at all.
I'm not sure a small temp difference is worth tearing into the dash but it might be for you

Sounds like it’s normal then. Thanks. And yes I feel your pain with the annoying rattles and AC.

The blend door was changed a while back when I had a larger disparity when
the AC was on. This is a minor change in temperature but I brought it up just in case it was the evap or something else but as you say it’s not that so maybe just a normal feature whereby if the cars being driven all day or for a long time the climate control may adjust itself to maintain the automatic temperature
