Hopefully they will work out fine. These are small, but like I said in a previous post, these LED strips draw VERY little current, so I cant see these switches burning out. :shrug:

Time will tell....

I can use one to power my LED strips (under hood) and another to power my sill plate radiator cover...

Chrome Protective Door Latch Covers

Just found these. Doesn't show they fit a Mustang, but I would bet they do. They look like the black ones some of us have purchased in the past.

A great mod & not super expensive is the Steeda Billet Rear Shock Mount.

The Steeda Billet Shock Mounts are also great for drag racers, drifting and autocross, or if you're running aggressive shocks on your Ford.

Thinking about those LED strips, I realized that they'd be fantastic for my workshop. Stepping from 120VAC to 12VDC is easy enough, and these would be great to mount to my mill, lathe, drill press, and reloading station.

I tested them with a 12 volt adapter. They are super bright.

Just bought these LED strips. I bought a set a couple of weeks ago and tested them. THEY ARE BRIGHT!!!!. But I found this seller and for les than $2 a set, ya cant go wrong, can you???

I will be using them for under the hood and the trunk....maybe. And if not, they will be a great addition for lighting my workbench....Yes they are 12 volt, but hoked to an adapter, they work fine..

[MENTION=27640]bjstang[/MENTION] Just did a test fit with the LED strips. There are two little angled point under the hood, just above the hood liner. These flat points under the hood are the perfect size for these LED strips.

Like I said, its only a test fit, as I am waiting on my switches. But I think this is gonna work out great. And rather than a switch tied into the hood opening and closing, I may use a little toggle switch, so I can turn off an on as I please. That way< I can show my sill plate rad cover install better when under the hood is darker..

The little rockers I think are the best route. Several years back I installed similar switches in my F150 for added on internal and external lighting.

Do I bought these and they’re on the way.

However, I have a convertible and there as plastic cover over the wiring for the mirror. Do the couples have this? Does anyone know how it comes off so I have access to the windshield? Anyone put one of these on a convertible?
