I just got these from ebay (China). Cost less that $5. I was thinking about placing them on the rear of the side shirts. These skirts are kinda boring and I don't want body color or CF, so maybe a little bling on the skirts may help they are close to the 2016 GT logo. I got black/chrome to suit my CS wheels. The other option was red/chrome....

Not sure yet whether to do it. But if I don't, its only $5.....:cheers:

I have been pondering over doing something with the side skirts for quite some time. I think I am gonna use black silicone to stick them. That should be fairly easy to remove....I hope!!!

But I have another thought.....the 2019 California Special has red stylized lettering on the rear deck lid. I would think there will be a Ford part number for that when released. If I can see some better pics if it, that may be an option for the side skirts as well....

The lettering is raised, so I am assuming its a "stick on" part.

For you pull strap guys:
If you remove one of the gas struts from the trunk lid, it is a 2 finger affair to close the trunk.
I also have a strap, and a little tug drops the trunk.

I also used this as a pull strap for a little fun.

IMO I might change the faux gas cap just cause of having to much California special on the rear :shrug:

Just bought these LED strips. I bought a set a couple of weeks ago and tested them. THEY ARE BRIGHT!!!!. But I found this seller and for les than $2 a set, ya cant go wrong, can you???

I will be using them for under the hood and the trunk....maybe. And if not, they will be a great addition for lighting my workbench....Yes they are 12 volt, but hoked to an adapter, they work fine..

Just bought the switches. These are small, but there is very little current draw with these LED strips, so all should be good. Just have to fuse the circuit with an inline fuse and all good.
