Ok so I’ll probably just go ahead and pay for the flex tune and fill up with “E85” every time. Then I don’t have to worry about testing correct? And if E85 isn’t available, I can run 93 gas on the flex tune?
yep

Correct. Here in AZ most of our e is e54. Found 2 stations locally that have real e85 that I'll use when able. Occasionally swap in a tank of 91 (no 93 here) for maintainance. But never swap tunes for fuel just run the flex full time. Last dyno with this tune put down 516whp/454wtq (running full e85) which is pretty healthy for NA.

Per Lund to me - anything over E70 will be fine on the E85R tune. Luckily in my area its usually E82-83 or above.

There is only 1 station within 25 miles of me that has E85, so I think the flex tune is my best option

You'll still the knock resistance benefit of E85 running the flex tune, so comparatively speaking it should perform better than 91-93 octane gas. It just won't ramp up the timing as aggressively as the E85R does.

I should also add the benefit of a cooler intake charge with ethanol. If you're using flex, I would suggest trying an E40 mix. There's data that seems to indicate that E40 has the greatest volumetric efficiency gain amongst all mixtures. However, it most cases where it matters most, like in forced induction applications, E85 is still better because it has higher octane (and therefore greater resistance to knock) so you can run more boost. Point is N/A with E40 you should still get maximum timing advance while also using less fuel than on full E85 and possibly better torque output - on the flex tune.

The E85R tune is different because it doesn't care about having to tolerate 91 or 93 octane. It can shove a lot of timing in early and the tuner knows the fuel sufficient to avoid knocking.

I did some logs to compare my 93 and flex tunes (running E60 on the flex tune). Runs were hours apart in similar conditions. From 3000-7500 rpm I compared. Early on around 3000 rpm I would see about 22* of timing on 93 vs. 25* on E60. The lower rpm dip in timing was not as severe as I saw on the 93 tune and the timing curve stayed much more consistent on the log with E60. And the E60 log it didn't knock and pull timing up top like the 93 tune did. Once it hit max timing ~29.5 it stayed there. The 93 log never reached that - hit 27.5 max and started to pull.

On the 93 tune by itself, you'd probably not notice its pulling timing. But back to the back when you're running ethanol you can feel it, particularly up top. You wouldn't notice the timing is pulled until it isn't. If you take it up to 7000 rpm or beyond you will notice it. So it's about better performance of spark timing throughout the rev range and particularly up top.

I just got my tunes and uploaded them into my Ngauge. I didnt realize I would get both the flex tune and E85 tune. I thought I had to pick the one I wanted, cool bonus. Now I need to run down my gas, I have 38 miles left lol.

Yes most tuners will give you both. Lund actually gave me 3 cause I'm in az and needed an e54r to go with the flex and e85r.

Op if your car is manual you might want to give your e85 tune a try. Much more aggressive feeling to the car and compensates for the longer gearing. E85 in the flex tune only feels the same if your reving 7k+ all day. And it takes less than 10 mins if you need to switch back to flex. Its probably not as noticeable/ necessary in the A10 due to the gearing of that beast.

My main question is, how low on an E85 tune can I run my car safely? E80? E70?
E75. I wouldn't go any lower on a E85R tune.

It’s fluctuating from 51-70 while driving. I also cannot find ALCH_learn, I found ALCH_%. I ran it below 0 miles and filled up with E85, 15.79 gallons.

Alcohol learn is only available with the flex tune. The E85 tune assumes you are running E85.

I'm using the flex tune since I am not sure what quality of E85 I am getting yet
