What was your RWHP? Also what injectors are you using?
My RWHP was 917, 683 TQ, Crank HP was 1108 HP, 844 TQ. NOTE: My limitations to my KPM 1500 with PCM is Engine Crank HP, Not Rear Wheel HP.
- My injectors are ID1050X.
- 1st pull was with Smoothboost at 100% Max setting
- 2nd Pull was Smoothboost set to 50%
- 3rd pull was smoothboost set to Minimum

Nice! I have KPM1000 and ID 1050X Injectors, but I'm not boosted. I had plans on staying N/A. Now that I'm running out of mods I may just go with ESS. My limits with boost will be whatever the KPM1000 allows on E85.

One thing about Dave is, he responds back in a reasonable time. (Australuans) šŸ˜† Dave will tell you at what power level the KPM 1000 has. Plus, all of these kits are upgradable.

It pushed my power to 469 whp and 434 wtq. I also added a 150 shot of nitrous, bumping power to 639 whp and 602 wtq, and that still wasn’t enough. Now I’m back looking for more with a turbo.

It sounds like boost is on your mind. If so, I recommend waiting on the tune until you get all mods in place, so that you don’t have to pay twice for the tune.

How are you running a 150 shot I am hearing of people blowing their motor on 100 shots? I'm right at 866whp now supercharged and I am thinking of running a 75 shot hopefully get over 950 did you ever run into issues with the 150 shot?

Yeah I have the ported Roush supercharger so really bad IATs even with DOBs huge heat exchanger and the jokers intercooler in south FL at 95° high humidity is normal here curious how much power a 75 shot would give me with a more aggressive tune hoping for atleast 90whp so I can make like 955 960whp. How many miles did you run that 150 shot? And did you do alot of hits or just occasionally?

I would really be stoked to see 980 but that's asking alot from a 75.

That sounds like a very nice setup you have there. I have no sound that a 75 shot will get you that 980 whp mark.

Are you still on the factory motor? If so, the one thing you’ll want to do is put a cap on torque. My research has indicated that high torque (not horsepower) is what stretches and eventually snaps connecting rods in these motors. I know a guy that was set on kill at 1200-1300 whp with a twin turbo 2020 GT, who just experienced this and windowed his factory block. With that being said, I have decided to cap my torque at 680 lb-ft when I tune the car.

How much torque are you making at 866 whp? Torque output is insane with nitrous, so ai would suggest at least working with your tuner to dial that back to a safe level. Your horsepower can remain the same and you should get a lot of life out of the motor. Now if your motor is built, then just put the 75 shot on there and don’t worry about putting a cap on torque. Either way, you should still be able to reach your goal.

Iā€˜ve sprayed several bottles through my car. I never hit lapped it on nitrous. I always allow a minimum of 45 min. cooldown period between hits.

I lost a new factory motor in a car that way back in 2000 and learned that lesson quickly. Good electronics will really make the system a lot safer for you.

I made 653 ft lbs but Palm Beach Dyno does good work but other than the oil pump gears crankshaft gear and crank saver stud the last guy with my setup made 1000whp supposedly I hope you are correct!

Get ready for that 980 whp because it will happen for sure. I’m very confident in that statement.
