Very true. Just wanted to stick with lund since thats who I am already tuned through
Hey guys

Been about 5 years since I've been around here or modified my car much.

I have a 2015 GT MT82.

It has a paxton 2200sl with the 3.8, FIC1000, and a BAP. I switched to a 3.6 pulley but would like a little more power.

Is there anything now to go to the 3.48(?) Whatever size it is without doing a full return fuel system? I already asked lund and they will only do it with the fore return system. They said my only other option is 100 octane fuel if not getting a fuel system.
Im currently running the KPM 1000 returnless fuel system, e85 and 93 tuned by Rob Shoemaker

Im slightly retarded and tune my own too. That's why we have Mike. When I come across something that requires me to add single digits numbers I ask for help! Lol. If I can do it anybody can learn it no doubt.

Well, now that I know people on my intellectual level can tune. I think I'm
ready to tune mine as well! Thanks Wengerd! I'll take it from here!!!

Theres not a lot to tune this yourself on the gen 2. You can use the fuel trims to get the fuel psi table close and fine tune after. Very easy assuming injector data and MAF curve are stock or well known/ accurate. Change one thing at a time. Ideally you'd log a real fuel pressure sensor but not required.

Stock fuel assembly, Dw400, booster and id1000 and I'm only touching 80% DC at near 7800 rpm on 10psi, ported roush lower and e85 catless. I do run a -10an line from stock fuel pump assembly to rail which does help some psi drop.

Bigger injectors will give you more headroom. I wouldn't go more pulley wise personally unless swapping to a larger pulley in winter months. E85 at the same boost as 93 is still worth the effort IMHO.

You can always find another tuner that will do it with a different fuel setup
This above! TUNERS will, and should be willing to tune what you have. A TUNER, should be willing to invest a bit of time to dial something in, and make the CUSTOMER happy. As long as you have enough fuel, and things are within safe limits, when paying for a tune, you should get what you pay for.

I do not disagree, but that qualifier alone shuts down more than half the tuner market…common knowledge is to ask the respective tuner what they will and/or won’t deal with, then it’s your choice whether or not to move on to the next tuner 😉
