Well based on your logic, the Corolla and Prius must be incredible cars too since they sell like crazy.
They are the best in their segment. Pretty sure you are not that mentally challenged.

Interior's are subjective but I find the Camaro SS interior better than the Mustang....easily. The SS A10 is a rocket ship and smoother than the GTs without question. Sluggish? LMAO.
No jerkiness, no constant gear hunting. I drove both repeatedly. The GT doesn't even feel like a performance car after getting out of a Camaro. It just feels like a tall fast car. It doesn't even close to providing confidence of a base SS which feels like scalpel on curvy roads where the Mustang feels like a Buick in comparison. That's fine if you want a fast cruiser. But the GT CS being the superior car is laughable. In visibility maybe but nothing else.
Lol. Move on you Dope. Do you actually race your new camaro around SD for a living...? Your going to defend what ever car your driving. Stay on camaro6 since your sooo Cool.

Yeah, the GT is deceptively fast. My 2009 WRX with Perrin stage 1 tune (335HP) was very slow from idle to 3500 RPMs and then wicked fast from 3500 to redline. It felt faster than the GT, because of the turbo power hit. The GT is very fast though, especially from 4K to redline. My 16 GT is the fastest car I have owned, but it is not the fastest "feeling" car I have owned.

Track mode will clear it all up..100% throttle at 50%pedal
This is one of the first things I noticed about these cars compared to my old 09 cts-v. I think it sells the mustang to a lot of people who go half throttle on test drives and think its really only 50% throttle.

My mustang e85 tuned 10r80 ran better 1/4 mile than my 630rwhp manual cts-v on the street though. I think its just because the 10r80 is so fast and efficient in terms of staying in the power band and its a lighter car.

I think the main problem is you need some exhaust sound it makes a huge difference in your impression of the car.

I drove a 2013 evo (stock) and couldn’t believe how fast it felt. You’re right - in a highly turbocharged, small displacement car, that torque spike when the turbo kicks in hard makes it feel crazy fast. More so than a smooth, linear V8 with a high rpm “sweet spot”. But any Coyote from 2011 on should leave a stock evo or sti in the dust at the quarter mile, with a much higher trap speed.

But you can feel that if you try. On the evo, after the boost kicks in, the torque curve is a flat plateau, and at high rpm you can tell it’s not making nearly as much yank as a coyote.

Ultimate question is would you rather feel fast or be fast?
In my case since I don't do any racing anymore I have no need for "fast" or anything over 100. But I sure do want it to be as quick as it can be. And if it feels quick it usually is quick. It was so addictive to go from 50 to 80 so effortless and quick in my previous turbo cars. Just wish I didn't need to do multiple down shifts and rev to the moon to get the same result in a stock GT.

Really? Seriously? Sure when I raced around a track at 180 mph I enjoyed high rev motors. Give me a torque monster now to have fun on the street. But I'm just not as smart as you with my engineering degree and all. Just don't be so narrow minded to the fun of low rpm roll on torque

Installed a catback on my car this week and it definitely feels more powerful.......could be because I'm holding the gears longer to hear it.

Sorry actually I had too much to drink and that was a bit harsh. but still you should love revving it out imo. The v8 will make more power too so I dont get your comment..

AND you could always just twin turbo or whipple your coyote and make like 1000 hp.

So maybe my comment was just brutal truth.

I had a vw mk7 gti turbo car with tune and bolt on’s. Shit load of fun from 2500-4500 rpms and went from 50-90 mph real fast. Cat scaled 2900 pounds and made 307/355 fwhp. Just totally different animals compared to high reving n/a v8.

In my younger days and when used to roadrace I really did love the scream of high HP and respect the coyote quite a bit as a racing motor. Now with busy rural roads and getting older plus having FI motors in the past, the effort less cruising, short shifting power is what I crave and oddly enough the small disp. Turbo cars do this better. Yes the top end is generally more boring though. I might do a used out of warranty gt somewhat soon and see what i can do about creating low end torque. If not enough might need to do the supercharger. It's just with close to 500 HP I never expected to need to downshift as many gears to get into the fun zone.

E85 tune picks up a lot of torque on these 12 to 1 motors. Night and day. Fyi.
