Some days I get in my car, and it just feels SO smooth hitting gears and revving it out. Responding as if it WANTS to do it and enjoys it. Other days just feel like it's doing it because I ask it too.

I've seen this in old Taurus, Escorts, Honda CRV's, my old Mach1 and the current Bullitt. I'll never fully understand it. You'd think by now every car would feel identical every day in every weather. Maybe part of it's me, but even still I can tell when I'm in a grumpy mood, but my car seems to be in a great one.

It's a highly responsive, tactile machine.

It's just responding to your touch and input.

Which like all of us varies day to day. Minute to minute etc...

My car doesn't have moods. But I sure do.šŸ‘¹

Every fast car Iā€™ve ever owned is like that.

But a quick wash job usually clears it right up.

I know this is just my subconscious telling me this, but it does seem like the car is happier when it's spotless. Like chicken soup when you're a little under the weather. :cwl:

a cup of Lucas Mystery Oil in the pan, a Xanax for you and for the gas tank, and 1/2 bottle of FI cleaner with 2 gallons of E85 chaser. And she'll ready to rock your world.

The PhD has spoken.

Did you not know that they sulk when they are given regular ? (have you seen that thread ... ? :giggle:)

I observe my GT feels different, depending on weather conditions.
The arse dyno says this has made a noticeable difference on any performance orientated car I have owned :like:
