I was working on replacing my shocks/struts, springs and noticed that rear lower control arm bushing seems to be deformed. Is it the case? If so, could that also explain loose rear feeling on hard acceleration to the point where it feels like its gonna spin out. What could've caused such a damage and how to avoid it in the future.

My ex wife once asked me, "Does my ass look fat?"

Some questions are better left unanswered.

The cracking you see is the start of the end of life for that bushing. Normal. When you start to see pieces of it missing is when I would have concerns and start looking into replacing it. But for now, no worries.

Deformed, also means egg-shaped hole = loose

Yes, plan to replace, critical, or catastrophic failure pending ..... not yet, keep an eye on it.

Age, material used (soft), replacement? If it were I
consider something like the Energy Suspension urethane bushing.

Bushings overall are pretty standard and proper sizes are easily found.

Failing a spherical, Superpro. I think @TeeLew was/is running them and was/is quite happy.
So far, so good, but I don't know if they're still available.
