Lower Control Arm Bushings

Add another victim for failed lower control arm bushings. I've noticed the rear end swaying when I jiggle the steering wheel and was hoping it was an alignment issue because it's been about a year, but everything felt tight still so I checked the bushings and they're done.

It looks like Energy Suspension sells a whole kit, but upgrading the toe link to knuckle bearing with Ford's spherical, and the lower control arm to Steeda's for about the same price, doesn't seem like a bad idea.

Both sides were torn on mine. Replaced with BMR spherical bearings at 25000 miles. Made a big difference. There will be some (to me minor) whirring bearing noise transmitted into the car after install. Poly is probably not a good idea there due to the articulation angles needed.

I went with Steeda spherical for the control arms and Ford delrin lined spherical for the knuckle. Got about 2 weeks before I can get them installed.

A little rougher ride. I don't hear any additional noise, but I'm normally listening to music anyway.
